What a great place place to enjoy authentic Indian cuisine. The Samosas were divine! And the Goat Curry was- somehow- even better! Service was top notch as well.
I’ll definitely come back to enjoy the lunch buffet and try other options and savor them … and you should too!

This place is wonderful. Attentive staff and good food, chai, gulab jamun, the works! We were there at opening time on a Sunday, and there was plenty of seating and parking, with no wait. Our table enjoyed items from the menu and the buffet (and we saw several people coming in to pick up online orders). The atmosphere was also quite nice. Can’t wait to return and will surely recommend to others.

Very friendly staff and a beautiful setting. The food is pretty good there are separate buffet areas for vegetarian and non-vegetarian. I do not eat goat, but my husband and MIL had it and they said it was good, not ‘gamey’.

This was our first time and we will come back.

Yum!!! This place has the best Indian fare in Albuquerque. We enjoyed Baingan Bharta, Spicy Naan, & Veg Samosas. Ambiance is great, lots of comfortable seating, and service is top notch!! We always enjoy having a meal here and will be back again, and again, and again!

This is a very beautiful restaurant. The buffet is a good value, and a good opportunity to ease someone into trying Indian food. If you enjoy Indian food already, I think ordering off the menu is a better choice. The samosa had possibly the flakiest dough I have ever had and the goat curry had good flavor.
Service here is excellent and the ambiance is great. Overall I left happy.

A very spacious Indian restaurant with grand touches of decor – the woven, gauzy lamps were so pretty! The aloo parathas struck that rare balance of crispy and soft, while the creamy reshmi chicken just melted in the mouth. The lassi was perfect with just the right amount of sweetness. Service was stellar: attentive at just the right moments, never swooping in when I resembled a beast in the middle of thrusting food into my gob (which, let’s be honest, happens at far too many other eateries).

We had our first experience with Indian food last week at this establishment & it was wonderful! Our friends brought us with them. The waiter remembers my friends’ names and that is the kind of thing that will bring you back time and again. I try to avoid super spicy stuff – the butter chicken was fabulous & the little doughnuts in honey were delicious as well.

I was in Albuquerque, New Mexico and decided to try this Indian buffet out. It was amazing. Food was delicious, friendly staff, very clean restaurants, and also great wide selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian food also beer and wine. The chai Tea is rich & not watery like other Indian restaurants Peter & Armand were awesome

We have ordered lamp chop which is terrible. In the menu image it looks like fried lamp but it is just masala added lamp and taste not good at all.
Biriyani taste also not good at all, just normal rice and chicken masala.
My 2 friends went for veg buffet, which is not enough menus for $25. Even menu is not good for non veg buffet.
I would not recommend

Maharaja is hands-down the best Indian restaurant in Albuquerque. We have been going here for a couple years and the atmosphere and customer service is unmatched. Every time you step foot in this beautiful establishment you are greeted with warm smiles And you can tell they put their heart and soul into their food.
Peter was an excellent server and he took care of our every need.
