It was a wonderful experience. Our host was so helpful in explaining the differences in the choices and directing us to the part of the menu that had excellent descriptions of the sauces that accompany the main entree.
Everything had distinctive flavorful ingredients and it was beautifully presented. Our host checked on us frequently and refilled water as needed. Everything was perfect.

Came for lunch buffet. It was not being served. Lunch menu was a bit confusing. Was not sure what would arrive. Presentation was good. Taste was good. I would have preferred to choose all the items I was served and not just the main curry dish.

Went in around 8 in the afternoon and didn’t realize it was closing soon. Nevertheless, we were served and our waiter was kind and hospitable. It felt like I was a guest at someone’s home.

The portion is quite large. I’d recommend to start with only 1 dish for 1 person. All of my food is delicious. There’re many level of spicy you can choose but my recommendation is medium or below.

I really wanted to love this place. The host was amazing. The attention to the order was perfect. The attention to details was very undesirable. To start and to be fair, I have to say the bathroom tells me everything I need to know about a restaurant. Please, clean the bathroom or do not serve food. Maybe even remodeling is not a bad idea. The atmosphere is dark and not inviting. Our table was tilted and wobbled. This is a minute or so fix. The paintings on the walls are crooked. The ceiling is very un-inviting. The food, well the naan was the best I have had. The Tikka chicken was made with burnt onions. The taste of the burn was dominant over anything. My wife Said it must have been scraping from the bottom of the pot. The biryani was so clumpy and with not so much flavor. The chicken tandoori was average. And for an Indian restaurant, the rice was way too plain. I really wanted to love this restaurant but it was not to be.

The appetizers and soup were really good and I enjoyed it. Tandoori chicken, kadai Chicken and lamb biryani with the extra spice level was delicious and satisfying for my palate. If you want a chaat or soup, this is the place in Charlottesville. I would like to go here for these again.

My husband and I love this place for date night! The food is always amazing and extremely consistent. Everything we’ve tried is perfectly spiced, and the portions are perfect to fill you up so you don’t leave hungry. Will always keep coming back for more!

A hidden gem. Tucked away in a shopping mall off Seminole road it can be hard to locate. The atmosphere is cozy and attractive, the service attentive and helpful, the food is properly prepared and seasoned and the prices are reasonable. I always get a thali for the variety of foods and the pretty little stainless steel bowls arranged on a big platter.
