This place is usually our go-to for authentic Indian food, and it rarely disappoints us. However, last night was an exception, and I understand that it was a very busy night for them. We ordered two entrees, one with paneer and the other with mixed vegetables, but unfortunately, neither met our expectations this time. We ended up trying something else. The breads, which are usually excellent, were not up to their usual standard. I believe this was just a rough night for the restaurant in both food and service. I appreciate their consistent quality and look forward to returning soon to experience their usual greatness.

We had been to the Chicago location while we were in the city visiting. We liked it so much that we wanted to try the one somewhat closer to home. Everything was just as good! The veg biryani was so flavorful and chock full of big veggies. Matter paneer and naan yummy.. Not pictured, gulab jamun to end the night. The atmosphere was decorated nicely but not as cute as the Chicago location where you sit on pillows and low to the ground tables..

Really enjoyed my visit to this Indian restaurant! The food was flavorful and authentic, and the overall atmosphere was great. A big thank you to Angelo, the manager, for his exceptional service and hospitality. He made sure we had a wonderful dining experience. This is my very favorite Indian restaurant in the suburbs. The staff are always SO nice and attentive, and always provide great recommendations. The food is delicious!
I do think they may need to upgrade to a bigger space soon – the dining room is always full and there are times that kitchen supplies / dishes are in a hallway outside the kitchen. I would love if they had a bigger space anyway for corporate / private events.

Total disappointment. We called well ahead of time to reserve our seating, upon arrival the manager said he doesn’t have any reservations on our name, we might have called some other place, then I shown him my call record and he asked us to wait. After standing at to door for half an hour and seeing many people getting served ahead of us, we left from there without having dinner. Unacceptable and unprofessional service, would not recommend at all. There are many better Indian places in the neighborhood, please do yourself a favor amd try those.

Service was thoughtful and impeccable. Milton our waiter was great! Food was fresh and tasty. We had the Maharaj grill for 2 at such a reasonable price.
Rogan Josh and Dal were great texture wise, just needed a bit more depth to the flavor. The tandoori chicken and tikka fish and chicken were average but fresh.

First time at the Franklin Park restaurant, which is now our favorite for Indian cuisine. Absolutely delicious pickled chicken entree, wonderful breads, exceedingly gracious service by a gentleman named Mohan. The menu was varied and extensive, the atmosphere calm and pleasant. Definitely will be back!
