The food is delicious! I’ve eaten here with my family many times, and the food is always great. I especially love the grilled lamb. The papaya salad and steamed fish with lime are also fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone; I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

My wife and I popped in for lunch for the first time on Friday. What a great find, is now our favorite Thai place for lunch. They have lunch specials which although I presume are smaller portions, was still A LOT of food! I had the Spicy Basil lunch special, comes with rice, small salad, and rolls. Great presentation, service, and food!
See you next time.

Update 6/30/25: just had the Topaz Shrimp and it is scrumptious. The shrimp was cooked perfectly, not overcooked. The yellow curry and the crab meat was the perfect complement. A little kick at the end. Just right.

Ah, another Asian cuisine in this spot. Jasmine Rice was never something to write home about other than it was a restaurant catered to the population of the nearby neighborhoods. So when we saw a Thai restaurant was put in, we thought we must try at least once.

The decor was changed up a bit for the better. It wasn’t busy so we were seated right away. The young man that served us was very nice. The staff seems to be very attentive as our water glasses were never empty.

We had the chicken and prawn fried rice, green curry and wagyu spicy basil. Crab delight for appetizers, which were pretty good. A little too much cream cheese for my liking but overall not bad.

The fried rice was served in a pineapple and was huge. Enough to serve 2 persons. The prawns were surprisingly fresh, which was what I used to judge the quality of the restaurant. It passed.

The green curry was nice and spicy and the flavor was good, as expected from a curry fish. The basil dish was enjoyed by my partner but I thought it was nothing spectacular.

Absolutely blown away by this gem of a Thai restaurant! From the moment we sat down, we knew we were in for a treat, and they absolutely delivered. The appetizers were phenomenal – bursting with fresh flavors and beautifully presented. But the main dishes? Simply outstanding! The portions are incredibly generous, so come hungry!
I had the Waygu Beef Basil, and the quality of the beef was exceptional, with just the right amount of spice. My partner raved about the Green Curry, saying it was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. And the Fried Rice served in a half pineapple? What a delightful and delicious surprise! It was packed with flavor and the presentation was so fun.
Despite the high quality and generous portions, the prices are incredibly reasonable, landing right in the mid-$20s per person. This place offers incredible value for such an amazing culinary experience. The service was also top-notch – attentive and friendly.
Honestly, I can’t recommend this Thai restaurant enough. It’s a must-try if you’re looking for authentic, flavorful Thai food around the area in which we need good food with generous portions at a great price. Five stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A little confusing as the exterior sign is not the same name, but ok we’ll try a new place. They said the new sign isn’t up yet. The interior is welcoming and nicely designed. We went on a Saturday night and there weren’t any other customers there. Just a server and cook. Tried the chicken satay which was awful. Probably the worst satay I’ve ever had anywhere. Had some weird citrus taste which needed water after every bite. Couldn’t finish it. So far not looking good. At this point my wife and I argued about not going for Mexican, which we were originally going to get. BUT: I had the pad see ew with beef (intentional because Thai restaurants always make their beef super dry). The beef was delicious (best I’ve ever had in a Thai place) and sauce on point. Portion was a good size. My wife had the fried fish which was beautifully cut up for presentation, and was very tasty with a sweet sauce. No bones to pick and big chunks of fish peeled away nicely from the skin. Highly recommend it. Would we go there again? Probably not. It’s more expensive compared to other local Thai places ($6 for extra peanut sauce? $20 for Tom Kha soup?)

The service was great, but unfortunately the food wasn’t. The quality of the eggs were bad, and we didn’t even eat the orange chicken we ordered because the texture of the chicken. The restaurant itself needs a good cleaning. There were stains on the table, crumbs and stains on the floor. The waitress was kind and attentive, but the food and cleanliness of the restaurant was not good.

This Thai place is excellent ,foods are very testy ,their services was very nice and the atmosphere is so clean and beautiful . This place I highly recommend for Thai food experiences , I will come back again and again. If you think about Thai food in Las Vegas please don’t skip this place. I love the crab fried rice , seafood soup and the fried fish with tamarind sauce was so amazing.

We are not normally Thai Menu folks, but decided to give Mahanakon Thai a try after the favorable reviews we had seen. We found our choices (five of us each had something different) very delicious, service was excellent and the pricing is very moderate. They made believers out of us. Plus, we like to patronize small, locally owned businesses.

The food was amazing. The service was great. Even my picky daughter which she is very picky and hardly try’s anything, loved everything. And their red curry for people who are not fans of curry, it hardly tastes like it but in a good way. Once again the food was amazing. Especially their cream cheese ragoons and the thai tea. Highly recommend!
