VALUE – $60 – 3.5/5
– BBQ Bacon Burger – 3.5/5 – I liked it.
We ordered two these. My son said he’d give his a 4/5 stars. He said he liked the burger. Didn’t like the onion ring inside, it was too hard he said.
– Avocado swiss – 3/5 – my wife got this. She said it didn’t have flavor.
– Bacon cheese fries – 2/5 – My son got these. Said it tasted good going in, but now he’s feeling pretty bad. lol.
– Fries – 4/5. I liked mine, but the wife and my son didn’t like them much.
PORTION SIZE- 4/5
Portions were large. Approprioate.
SERVICE- 4/5
The young woman had one airpod in an ear and talked really quietly. She was very nice, but moved slowly and seemed like she had a hard time hearing us. If I were her manager, I’d say drop the airpod, speak louder and move quicker. 🙂
ATMOSPHERE – 4/5
It was a fast food place in a food court. As good as that gets, I guess. It was all good. Eating area was clean. Lots of people, but easy to find a place to eat.

MY FAVORITE BURGERS:
1. HiHo – Los Angeles
2. Tanner’s Prime – Oceanside – Prime Burger
3. The Stand – Onion Stack Burger
4. In-n-out – Double Single, extra lettuce
My favorite fries
– Five Guys
– Tanner’s Prime
We ordered a couple of Loco Moco burgers $9.45… we are in Hawaii the birth place of the Loco Moco. You are suppose to get a beef patty with a sunny side egg covered with brown gravy. The patty was juicy…but there was very little or no gravy at all. I was hoping for a messy get the bib and mop out type burger. What I got was a 2 napkin burger. But I would still reorder this burger again.
We also got a Pineapple Burger $10.45 I guess here in Hawaii everything is a Hawaiian burger. The sweet pineapple and teriyaki sauce went will with the savory juicy beef patty I really liked this burger over the Loco Moco. The sandwich has a better balance of flavors.
We also ordered a side of truffle fries $6.75. This tasted like the same type of fries like the ones garlic fries without the garlic. If there was any truffle oil in there I cannot taste it. When I ordered, I requested some ketchup… no ketchup in the bag.

will never try again.
At first we thought he was being funny, as we are used to sarcastic, playful banter. No, he had this attitude about him that screamed, “I literally want to be anywhere else but here.” Not a good sign for someone who works directly with the public. He needs to do better.
The food was pretty good, we both ordered teriyaki burgers with fries. We were not aware that the burgers came with a mustard sauce. I didn’t mind it so much, but my husband couldn’t finish his.
My husband would have asked the young man what came on the burger in the first place, but again, the young man was so rude and unpleasant, he was too afraid to ask. My husband ended up going to Panda Express shortly after.
In conclusion, the burgers and fries were good, the experience was not. I just hope the rest of the staff at Mahaloha Burger in the Royal Hawaiian Center is friendly and delivers a good first impression.
