The ramen noodles were a bit more softer than what I’m used to but the soup was really good. I’ve gotten the Calamari Miso Ramen and it was really good but most importantly, very fulfilling. I’d highly recommend visiting this restaurant!

My husband and I finally got to stop here for lunch and sooo happy we did. It was delicious! He had the hibachi and I had the black garlic Ramen. Both were so good. The only thing better than the food was the service. This will be a new go to spot for us.

This is my favorite place in Asheville for sushi and ramen! Great place, great service, and the food is always fresh and delicious. They have an open kitchen, so you don’t have to worry about cleanliness. The only thing I would suggest changing is the distance between the tables — they are too close together, and if the room is crowded, you can’t hear your friends talking and you can’t even enjoy the atmosphere because people can be very loud.

Stopped by for a dinner session. Restaurant next door was over booked so we came across because reviews were good. Food was ok. Very average. Nothing jumped out at us. Had misos, gyozas, stir fry, octopus carpaccio, hamachi tapas and some rolls. Nice spot inside service was good.

I’ll be coming here periodically until I try everything, stopped in for a quick roll and drinks and was surprised by how good the sushi was. It’s a relatively new spot in town and I can highly recommend vs some of the other sushi places in AVL, parking is a pain bc of being on Biltmore but it’s worth the effort, try it out.

Delicious food, very calm and beautiful atmosphere, and great service. We were happy with all the dishes we ordered; they were all very good and the portions were generous.

Very friendly staff and great service. They were able to make my hibachi gluten free and it was delicious.

I usually go to Maguro about once every 2 months. The food is usually very good, especially the sushi. Even the breaded entrees are tasty and done just right. My son always orders the Yuzu soda (for the last 10 times he was there) and it is never on the menu. Perhaps you should remove it from the menu?

The last time I went there, however, I was disappointed in some of the food choices. The calamari was fried too long and too much breading was used. You tasted the char first and the calamari had no seasoning. I let the waitress know and she kindly had them make another one. The new order was better, but not the same quality as the previous times I ate there. The Karaage was not as flavorful as the last time either, but at least it was not overly fried. The Kani salad and the new sushi trio were very good. The worst was the snow crab sushi/sashimi at market price on the menu. You can only get it as onigiri, which would not be so bad if you actually received something worth $15. What we got is in the picture and it was minuscule. Yes I know it is real crab. I also know that snow crab costs the most $15 a lb. and there was maybe 1 oz of crab meat in that order. The crabmeat was not even fresh tasting, dry even. The entire piece weighed maybe 2 oz.? I was very disappointed.

Please review your quality again. I am in the industry where a lot of people ask me for dining recommendations in Asheville and the surrounding areas. I would hate to stop recommending Maguro to them. Thank you and have a good day.

All the staff are so kind and sweet!! Absolutely lovable. Good atmosphere. We got salmon roll and yellowtail roll. Black garlic ramen was very good. The eggs were cooked perfectly. 10/10 experience. No wait on a Friday night around 7:30!

We went yesterday to celebrate our anniversary. The food was amazing — everything was fresh and beautifully presented. We mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary, and I was hoping they might offer a small detail or gesture like they did for the people next to us who were celebrating a birthday, but that didn’t happen.

Even so, I definitely recommend this place.
