I have to say that was one of the tastiest lunches I had in a long time. I had some sort of burrito for lunch with bacon, chicken, cilantro, eggs, and some sort of delicious avocado (?) ‘dressing’ slathered all over it. The server / waitress / nice lady, Dani, who brought the food was prompt, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly too!

It was my first time visiting, but won’t be my last.

This was our first time eating here, and we didn’t quite know what to expect. We were hungry and it was close by, so we thought, why not!?

We thought the atmosphere was very neat. Boho/industrial. I loved the plants in the windows. The music was just a bit too loud for us, but the music genre was pleasant.

We ordered nachos as an appetizer, 1 pork taco, 1 chicken taco, and the Bleu Jay with fries. We decided to share everything.

For some reason, all of our food came out at the same time. I forgot to take pictures of the food! The sandwich was really good and the beer-battered fries were great. They had a great crispness to them. I ordered ranch and it was perfect thickness for dipping…no drips!

Both of the tacos were okay, in our opinion, but the pork ones were the better choice. Sadly, the nachos were cold and soggy. If they would have been served before our meal, and warm, they would have been great. There is good flavor there, though. I had asked for no olives, but there were still olives that I had to pick out. The avocado verde had a great taste, but I am glad I ordered it on the side. My husband won’t touch anything with avocado.

I have recently been expanding my restaurant choices since being desensitized to several foods that I have reacted to. I will give them another try to see if the food timing is better. I might even bring in a slice or two of pineapple to throw on that sandwich….it would have made it the best sandwich ever.

The Magpie is easily one of the best spots to visit in Great Falls. ⭐ From the moment you walk in, most of the staff make you feel truly welcome with their kindness and positive attitude. The service is great, and it really adds to the overall experience. The food is absolutely incredible as well—everything tastes fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. ️

The atmosphere is stylish and unique, giving the place a vibe that feels a little different from the usual spots in the area—in a really good way. Many of the ingredients are made in-house, including their fruit-infused liquors that are used to create some amazing cocktails. Both brunch and dinner are consistently delicious, and the drink menu offers plenty of great options.

They’ve also recently opened a prohibition-style speakeasy bar called The Glass Bucket, which might just be the coolest small bar and casino in the city. With so many food and drink choices, rotating desserts each week, and such a high level of quality, it’s impressive that the place has only been open for about three years. It already feels like a beloved local classic. Highly recommend checking it out!

Food and service was great. Biggest downside is depending on the time you go, the brunch menu may be the only option. It would definitely be more clear/helpful if the full menu wasn’t given out when it’s not available.

The Magpie is hands down the best place to go in Great Falls. Almost every staff member is incredibly kind and welcoming, and the food is absolutely phenomenal. The atmosphere is unique and stylish, with a vibe that feels almost foreign for the area in the best way. Nearly everything is made in-house, including their fruit-infused liquors used in their fantastic cocktails. Both brunch and dinner are consistently delicious, and the cocktail menu is just as impressive. They recently opened a new prohibition/speakeasy style bar called The Glass Bucket, which is easily the coolest little bar and casino in the city. With endless food and drink options, rotating weekly desserts, and such a high standard of quality, it’s amazing that this place has only been open for three years-it already feels like a local classic in the making. Highly recommend

Wow! I walked in, instantly impressed with the interior ambiance, then walked through to the outside seating and was just as pleased with the whole scheme.
Then, the food came…
OMG, I wish I lived in this city, the food was fantastic, everyone at the table was blown away by the flavors and the presentation.
Our server was johnny on the spot, kept our drinks coming and was super friendly.
I will definitely return next time I come to GF

We ate at Magpie for the first time and it was wonderful! The food was tasty and the Little Moon cocktail was divine (super delicious and perfectly balanced). Our server (I think her name was Morgan) was absolutely amazing–the best customer service I’ve seen in a long time. I loved the vibe of the restaurant and the decor. Definitely a gem!

Slightly loud, but this is clearly a place for groups to dine and have fine. We were there for a couple’s night and had a great meal and drinks. I will say that the “upsell” vibe from our server was a bit much, but she had more than enough personality to make up for it. We shared a salad and had shrimp & grits and the ribs. The latter was actually pretty spicy, which we like, and the potatoes that came with it were perfectly cooked. All around a great meal. Would definitely come back.

An amazing place with amazing drinks and service. And if you get the chance check out The Glass Bucket. Their food, drinks, atmosphere, and service are absolutely brilliant. Will definitely be back next time I’m in town.

Cute establishment, but service was bad ordered a drink the server brought me my drink that was supposed to have blueberries they apparently ran out so instead of coming telling me they are out of blueberries she just brought me a drink I had no clue what it was but tasted mostly of lemonade even though was light red no clue what was in it, the waitress came by told her I couldn’t drink it just tasted sour like drinking straight squeezed lemon she offered no solution just told my boyfriend hopefully you can drink it…we ended up just leaving it she could have added juice or something to it but ya nope. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place for drinks.
