We drove from the Villages. Rita the bartender and server was absolutely amazing. She was on point with how many people were there. We got beers she was on it. Beer was cold. We ordered the Fried shrimp,4 dos. Oysters, Clams, grouper bites, mahi bites. All was so Fuh good… so good. I’d walk bleeding out from Alaska. If you have second thoughts of going, just go i promise you it’s the move.

Not our 1st time here, but by far not our best meal. They forgot both of our orders of oysters, and the clams were very chewy and the hush puppies were over cooked. A bit disappointing when you spend $110 before tip. I’ll give them another chance but it will be a while. Past meals were very good.

Great little mom and pops hole in the wall! Friendly staff and a relaxed local atmosphere! Was in town and wanted oysters for dinner, found this quaint little restaurant/bar and am very glad I did! Going to be my go to anytime I am in Leesburg! I come from the Atlantic Coast in a seaside city and know oysters! These are top notch! Eat at Magnolia Oyster Bar, you won’t be disappointed!! Not bad price’s either, $40 for a Coors and two dozen oysters.

We three ladies came here for a birthday celebration for the crab leg special, and there was nothing special. The crab legs were dry, and served with MARGARINE!(Yuk-heart killing trans fats!! Never have I not been served real butter!! I have no reason to ever return here for crabs. The ambience reaches for ‘shabby chik’, but doesn’t quite make it. The Mom, who cooks was an adequate waitress, who offered jarlic to add to the transfat for more taste did not seem to take the complaint seriously. At $75 plus dollars for the bill, I need more.

So I’m from out of town and I found this place and of course I love oysters. So I decided to stop in and check it out. I was not disappointed.
I sat at the bar had one beer and I got the fried oyster platter and then I finished off with six oysters raw. I can say if I lived here in town, this would be my local hangout because it was really a nice atmosphere very family friendly fun.
They have outdoor seating, indoor dining and bar seating.
So they open a 50 pound sack of oysters, pour them into the ice and then shuck them in and open them right in front of you.
Stop by and check them out. They’re pretty cool.
Enjoy !!
I sure did

My uncle and I went to this hole-in-the-wall seafood joint after some local recommendations; We were not disappointed. We enjoyed 12 raw oysters and a couple of beers for appetizers and my were they delicious, and very fresh.
For our entree, we had fried grouper sandwiches with fries. We were a little disappointed they didn’t have a grilled or blackened option but hey, what can ya do? The sandwich was big and flavorful, the Tartar sauce was delicious and the fries were crispy.
The owner came out to bring our food and checked on us frequently. We had a nice conversation she was very sweet. I look forward to visiting her and this gem of a locally-owned restaurant again soon.

Clam chowder was very tasty but expensive. Baked oysters with bacon and cheese were good. Fried oysters were extremely tiny and over the top salty. Nice people.
