Absolutely delicious. Sadly the photo doesn’t show it, but that sandwhich was PACKED with meat. Well worth the price (which is actually really reasonable!). Have been back twice more now and I am NOT one to usually try something new, but the menu is so tempting I have actually gotten a few different items including the soup flight because I just couldn’t decide which to try!

Location is tiny though, so wait times may be long during peak hours. Atmosphere is very fun, and it’s conviently located with ample parking.

Food is pretty good. Especially soup flight and roast bowl (very Midwest )

Really love this place, sure hope they’re around for a long while! The prime rib was fabulous, and just have to add that the Chicken and Dumpling soup is to-die-for. I’m sure the others are amazing as well, but definitely try the Chicken and Dumpling when you go

Love this place. Great food and a great atmosphere. Servers can be a bit chatty with each other and other patrons and they don’t check back with you as often as they should. But all around would definitely recommend!!

This is a local gem of a restaurant (less than 6 months old) – the kind of place my wife & I look hard for when we travel. The people here are genuinely friendly, outgoing & gracious. The food quality is the highest possible. Tonight, we had the Dill Pickle Potato & Ham soup breadbowl and the Pork Loin special. Both dishes were flavorful, unique and enjoyable. Ample portions will fill you up with a warm sense of satisfaction you will not find at any other establishments in Sturgis. I know of only two restaurants in Rapid City that can compete with these folks. We both look forward to coming back soon!!

A friend recommended we try this place and we finally did. It was absolutely delicious! Chicken and dumpling soup is heaven in a bowl. The salad was crisp and had lots of tasty things. The bread was very nice, and the pie was very tasty! (Strawberry Rhubarb and Butterscotch Cream pie). Our server was delightful. Such a pleasant experience and incredibly reasonable price!

The best thing there is the sweet tea. Had chicken and dumpling soup. Dumplings tasted like flattened pie dough. The split pea soup was extremely salty. Someone told my sister it was a Southern place. As a Southener, it is not, except for the tea. Glad I went to try it though. BTW, the “special” was prime rib for $38. It is not related to Chip and Joanna from the interior design group or Magnoiia magazine.
