Give this place a try – it’s amazing.
The owners are super attentive and friendly. The food, after speaking to the chef Raul, is made from scratch. Always cooked freshly! There brunch options and dinner options are the reason I keep coming back – more specifically the chicken Marsala! Try it out and you won’t be disappointed!

Magnolia on the Green was an absolute dream. I called ahead of time to check the reservation status and from that moment I was greeted with nothing but kindness. I walked in about an hour later to the most quant and cozy atmosphere. I don’t visit Salem often, but I stopped in before a meeting at the Capitol, and I couldn’t have been happier with my decision. The gentleman who answered the phone recognized my voice almost immediately and has me seated in seconds, right by the fire place. I was able to see the golf course with perfect view while I waited for my food. I ordered the Croque Madame and I will say it’s some of the most well rounded flavored sunny side up eggs I’ve ever enjoyed. I can’t talk about it enough. I also enjoyed a warm, alcoholic coffee (that I can’t remember the name of for the life of me) and it was such a great addition to a chilly day. I will recommend this restaurant 10/10 times to those dining in Salem. The prices are well beyond reasonable for the food quality, service, and experience you receive.

It’s got a great view over the golf course, and the food was very good. I had the Shepherds pie, yum! And our waitress was a hoot and a half, so it was really fun. Great place to take the parents or grandparents out.

Our food was hot, fresh & so delicious. The asparagus was perfectly cooked. Our server Charlie was such a doll & we felt so welcome. The ambiance is cozy & looking out on the green is beautiful. We can’t wait to come back.

We had our church Christmas banquet in their room upstairs, and the food was absolutely phenomenal. Everybody raved about it! We had some people not able to show up, so we should have had a good bit of food left over, but the food went so quickly! I’ve never heard so many people talk about how good the food was. Lindsay and her crew were also extremely pleasant to work with. They were courteous, friendly, and very welcoming. We’re already planning our gathering for here next year.

Cocktails were excellent, food was good, service was very slow. The view of the golf course is lovely if you don’t mind waiting awhile for your meal. Even with few diners in the main room, the service was uneven. Maybe it’s the kitchen.

My gf hates when I review but I’m gonna risk her wrath to drop this knowledge. We dined in for dinner and ordered more than we should. For apps, we got the escargot special, Korean wings, and the chowder. The wings were flavorful and juicy. The chowder is delicious and comes with garlic cheese bread. It slaps. And the escargot was amazing, if your into that. I had the smoked briscuit for my main. And it was very tender and fork cuttable. My gf had the Alfredo with shrimp. She liked the freshness and the size of the shrimp were massive. Pasta made in house. We would recommend checking the place out.
