Small town diner gem! Food was fantastic! We had biscuits and sausage gravy, the jackpot combo, and chicken and waffles. The waffles are amazing, fluffy inside and crispy outside. Chicken are tenders but had a nice breading on them. Cinnamon round French toast is a must try! Biscuits are fluffy and everything was done perfectly. Will be back!

BUSY for a weekday around noon, but we were seated promptly upon entering, received fantastic service, and LOTS of yummy food! There was one parking spot left when we pulled in, but plenty of space inside. Did not feel congested at all. Prices are great, portions are great, everything was a 10/10. We will be back!

Great place for some great comfort food. Had the chicken fried chicken- mashed potatoes- mixed vegetables- salad – chicken & rice soup. Soup was the best I’ve ever had! The rest was really good except for the mixed vegetables. They were disappointing. Service was excellent! Give them a shot. They are located in the downtown area of Durant. Oh great daily specials & check out the desserts!

Magnolia Cafe in Durant, OK, is an absolute gem for breakfast lovers! Their pancakes are fluffy and delicious, making each bite a delight. The French toast is equally amazing, topped with powdered sugar and fresh fruit that adds a burst of flavor. Don’t miss the Belgian waffles, which are crisp on the outside and soft inside.
For a savory treat, their fried okra is perfectly seasoned and crispy, and the chicken fried chicken is a standout, tender and covered in rich gravy. The warm and welcoming ambiance, paired with friendly service, makes every visit special. If you’re in the area, Magnolia Cafe is a must-visit!

Stopped in for a late lunch today and was greeted by the most friendly bunch of servers. A shout out to Amber who was delightful and sweet. We had the Chopped Steak, Liver and Onions, and Club Sandwich. Everything tasted great, service was top notch, and prices so reasonable! Definitely make it a stop if you’re passing thru!

Prepare yourselves, Durant, because I just had an absolutely mind-blowing experience at The Magnolia Cafe and you NEED to hear about it.
From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with a warmth and genuine hospitality that is just SO rare these days. The service wasn’t just good; it was spectacular! Every single staff member I encountered was on their A-game – attentive, friendly, and incredibly efficient without ever making you feel rushed. They clearly love what they do, and it totally shines through in their interactions.
And the FOOD? Oh. My. Goodness. The food is simply divine. Seriously, every dish that came out of that kitchen looked like a work of art, and tasted even better! You can tell they use the freshest, highest-quality ingredients because every bite was bursting with flavor. Whether you’re craving a comforting classic or something a little more adventurous, The Magnolia Cafe delivers on all fronts. I’m still dreaming about their perfectly cook Famers Skillet.
If you’re in Durant and you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience – fantastic service, incredible food, and an atmosphere that just feels right – you must run, not walk, to The Magnolia Cafe. This place is a true gem, and I’m already counting down the minutes until my next visit.
Five stars isn’t enough; they deserve ten.

Great meal for the whole family! Had the Philly cheese steak sandwich and it was very good. 3yo had the mickey pancakes which he almost ate all of. Got some banana bread and fried pies before leaving which were fantastic! Wasn’t to busy and very relaxing in there. Kelly was our server and made us feel right at home.

Mother’s Day, we knew what to expect. Every restaurant in America would be packed. The strategy for eating at Magnolia Café, get there early, before church lets out in the small town of Durant. This strategy was flawed. Every family took mom out for breakfast. The parking lot was overflowing. Little hopes of getting in quickly, but willing to deal with the wait.
Surprise, Magnolia Café had a couple of booths open. The restaurant was prepared, staffed, organized for the event. The varsity team waitstaff. “They were on their A-game!”
There were several specials. The waitress suggested the Chicken Fried Chicken. Sold! Make it two, with green beans and mashed. A side salad for me with Thousand Island. There was almost as much dressing as there was salad.
No slackers in the kitchen either. The restaurant was packed, yet our food arrived in minutes.
The food is magnificent, small-town diner excellent. The service attentive and friendly. These folks know how to run a restaurant.

Came in for lunch for our first visit—wow, what a great experience! Our waitress was incredibly friendly and helpful, taking the time to go over the specials in detail. Everything sounded so good, it was hard to choose! My wife and I both ended up going with breakfast items—the Okie omelet, and eggs with ham, served with homemade biscuits and gravy. Everything was absolutely delicious! The service was quick, and the food came out hot and fresh. We couldn’t resist trying a fried pie for dessert—great decision! We’ll definitely be back.
