Five of us went to Magnolia Bakeshop today for the first time. We walked in and were excited to look and get some good baked things. We were met with rudeness and eye rolls. It was so bad two of the five walked right back out the door and didn’t get anything. The rest of us continued to to try to give our business. Then towards the end she told us she was sick and couldn’t hear good. Maybe stay home if you are sick instead of turning away new customers who were excited to try for the first time. We definitely will never go back.

The rolls are so good! The fig bars are so flavorful and soft. Of course the gingerbread men, sugar cookies, dot cookies and the kokaches are amazing too! I have ordered specialty cupcakes, cookies and cakes several times and I have never been disappointed. The owners and staff are so friendly and willingly to help.

Magnolia bake shop is hands down THE BEST bakery in the South! Everything is made fresh!!! The gingerbread men are the best! The custom birthday cakes are made with buttercream icing and the cake is so moist. The breakfast is also the best! Nothing beats a warm fresh donut first thing in the morning especially in this cool weather

Delicious pumpkin cake purchased yesterday, 10.8.2025. Sweet little apple pie, too. Thank you! Hats off to the bakers!! I want this bakery to be the best ìt can be, and thus, I must let the owners know how unpleasant the counter help was yesterday afternoon, around 3.15 pm. No effort, no enthusiasm, no signs of basic customer service. No greeting, no thank you, and an apparent resentment of questions about bakery items not labeled. Brunette female at counter really compromised my overall experience of the place. We’ve stopped here several times, when we’re in Magnolia as contract employees of SAU. Please train the front of house staff (simply smiling, speaking, etc.) so that your wonderful, historic treasure continues to shine brightly.
