I am so happy I found this place. Everything on the menu is either vegetarian or vegan. First, I ordered spaghetti with broccoli, olives, capers and a bit of tomato. The meal was good, but not for 10, I would give it 8/10.
But then I ordered sformatino (my first time eating sformatino) with red onions and it was delicious, 10/10. The onion on the top was perfectly crunchy and salty. And the meal also looked amazing!
I finished my lunch with semifreddo (it’s like a mix of ice cream and a cake) with nuts, which was also perfect, 10/10. The waitress was very kind and I appreciate that she didn’t switch to English when she heard my broken Italian. (:
The ambient is bright and homely, and the place seems to attract people who come to peacefully enjoy food.
I am definitely recommending this place!! It will definitely be the first thing that comes to my mind when I think of Borgo San Lorenzo. I love the name of the place as well, nice word play, Magn’etico!

Wonderful place! I was looking for vegan lunch options and they had several to choose from! I took the seitan and it was so delicious! Definitely recommend! They have first courses and deserts as well as main courses!

Volevamo mangiare bene e sano , ma senza compromettere il gusto ed il piacere del buon cibo. Questo ristorante è stata la salvezza dopo le varie osterie della Toscana dove i piatti sono abbondanti, pieni di grassi e carne. Abbiamo preso 1 antipasto da condividere, 2 secondi e 2 piatti di verdure, 2 calici di vino biologico e 2 dolci da dividere – il tutto 27 eur a persona .
antipasto misto ( vedi menu nelle foto ) *****
kofta polpette di lenticchie e patate speziate con salsa bbq *****
polpette di zucca e ceci con crema di anacardi *****
verdure di stagione ( zucca e finocchio ) *****
cheesecake allo zafferano con salsa al melograno *****
Peccato che non abitiamo nei dintorni, perché ci torneremmo anche tutte le settimane !
I bicchieri dell’acqua urlano “ sostenibilità “. È un riuso delle bottiglie del vino ( se non erro ).
Inoltre, un tocco molto carino è stato vedere come nei bagni mettono a disposizione ( gratuitamente) pannoli e assorbenti per chi ne ha bisogno .
