My first time here and loved the atmosphere. Food was delicious! Our waitress Cece was the simply the best. She was very attentive, friendly, made good suggestions and we never saw the bottom of our glasses. It was so nice eating lunch and looking out over the water. Can’t wait to return!!

Really good restaurant, food was great. Really nice they followed the protocols very well for social distancing. I have the shrimp and corn chowder for a starter it was amazing. Flavor was so we’ll balanced and enough Chucky vegetables as well. Also I have the catfish platter for entree. Perfectly fried, crispy outside soft inside. Also my wife had chicken Alfredo she said it was very good. Overall food was really good, service was ok. They were a little behind with food but I anticipate this was just because of pandemic not as many people may have been working. So still recommend food is good!

Between my husband and myself we got a cup of chicken and sausage gumbo, Italian nachos, shrimp (blackened) and grits, and the crawfish Monica. Everything we had was beyond delicious, with generous portions. The patio overlooking the river was so serene and relaxed. The server we had, wish I could remember his name, was so helpful and professional. It was definitely worth the money, and definitely worth a visit.

This was a nice restaurant. The best part was the patio that overlooked the river and the fact that we could bring our small dog with us. The gumbo was good, fries were good, the mini-meat pies were good, especially with the remoulade sauce. The Po-Boy…not so much. They brought the bread, shrimp and toppings separate so that my wife had to make her own. This is not the way we’re used to. Waitress was friendly and helpful. Place was quiet and attractive.

We had a great experience today! Crawfish Covered Cornbread, Meat Pies, Shrimp & Corn Chowder, and a King Cake Bread Pudding. Bonita was an awesome server too!

I loved eating here. My husband & I had fried shrimp & it was very good. Also got a Margarita, one of the best ones I have ever had & the Piña Colada was just amazing.

Wow ! What a disappointment. We saw this place on Food Network and where so excited to visit. I guess that Chef is long gone or it was his day off. We sent the Chicken and Sausage gumbo back because it was soo flavorless. The rice tasted like minute rice that was not all the way cooked. The broth was water thin and my husband said tasted like dishwater. Mahi Mahi was bland and not even enough sauce for the pasta.Last half of my noodles I left because they where dry. No garlic bread either ! Now if you just want a nice view and a cocktail then yes visit. We really enjoyed the live music and our waitress was lovely. Very disappointing experience.

Well we waited for about 2 hours for a table. The food was good, service was reasonable, and they food was pretty good! I got the étouffée it was really good, the meat pies weren’t for us I suppose. The catfish was good, and so was the shrimp all and all a great experience.

Pet friendly on patio. Corn and shrimp chowder and shrimp etouffee excellent. Chicken Alfredo was a small bowl. My husband was still hungry when we left. It was a 7 out of 10. Great wait staff. I’d eat there again.

Ate here 7/23 with a friend. I ordered the shrimp and grits and it was probably the most pitiful version I’ve ever had. For $15 it came with a measly FOUR shrimp. I couldn’t believe it…. 4 shrimp in a shrimp and grits dish?? Talk about a royal ripoff. The grits themselves were plain and bland. The little dab of sauce in the center was admittedly pretty good, for the spoonful I got of it.
I was VERY tempted to speak to the manager (something I NEVER do) but out of consideration for our waitress and it being later in the day, I did not make an issue of it at that time.
However, I cannot say I will jump to eat there again. Im sorry, but one reasonably expects that a $15 shrimp and grits dish would have more than 4 little shrimp.
