First visit. We had Turkey Bacon Avocado sandwiches. Sides were battered fries and tomato pesto soup. All were really good. I have never liked soup but this one was good. Portions were big. We could have shared a sandwich and the side. We finished with chocolate cake. Definitely a good choice. Go and try the place.

We have loved this place for 20 years, but it’s really gone downhill the last couple years. The food is not as good of quality as it used to be, and the chocolate cake is always dry and stale now. The piece I got tonight was the texture of dry bread. Used to always be moist and delicious. I’m not sure we’ll be back. It’s hard to spend so much money to eat out and then have it not be good.

Breakfast burritos were not good at all. Tasted like Velveeta, and the steak was overcooked and very chewy.
We didn’t receive our order until 15 minutes after the people who came with us did, and they ordered the same time as us. We observed 5 other orders come out between the rest of our tables orders and ours. I asked why it was taking so long, they said because our order is bigger it doesn’t come out before smaller orders. So they were prioritizing orders of 2 and 3 before our order of 5, I saw both pancake and breakfast burrito orders coming out so it wasn’t what we ordered. Didn’t matter that we ordered first.
“Bottomless” pancakes and french toast takes 20+ minutes to receive more.

The food is good though the options are fairly few. The service wasn’t great while we tried to order. If we didn’t call someone over we would have stood there all night. The chef was a boss though and got food for seven people out quickly.

Family-friendly and affordable place for a night out. There aren’t many places where you can get bottomless french toast or pancakes for under $10. If you want something a little more hearty, the breakfast burrito is also under $10. Tried the fish and chips and was pleasantly surprised at the lightness of the fish and their fries are delicious. Coleslaw was also fresh with a mild flavor. My husband really enjoyed his burger and once again, their hot, fresh fries are delicious. Meals are all served on a paper plate and are an appropriate size for the price in my opinion.
Two other people in our party got the breakfast options – if you can splurge for the berries & cream – DO IT. Lots of big tables for families and plenty of parking outside. I wouldn’t make a special trip to come back to this spot, but if I was in the area again, I’d be happy to return for some breakfast.

We ordered the bottomless buttermilk pancakes, the Denver omelet, and the carne asada breakfast burrito.
The buttermilk pancakes are light and fluffy and the aroma coming out of the kitchen for these bad boys is amazing.
The omelet was great. Eggs were fluffy and cooked well and very flavorful. Often times restaurants have a difficult time with keeping omelets tasty and cooked evenly. Magleby’s did it well here. Plus the bacon tastes amazing – a little too sweet in my opinion. The potatoes were cooked well enough but imo could’ve been cooked crispier.
Now, the burrito… it was not good. The salsa verde tastes like it’s canned, the steak tastes like it was not asada but boiled. And the eggs.. look I get it. Making eggs in a burrito is hard. Sometimes they get a bit liquid-y.. that was a big problem with this burrito. The flavor was underwhelming and tasted like it was out of a can.
Overall the service was good, my daughter and wife left satisfied and full. TL;DR don’t get the burrito, if you’re craving that go to Don Joaquin’s. If you want pancakes and a good omelet, this is the place.

If you want lunch, don’t show up before noon. They make you wait. Then, they didn’t get the order correct. I’ve never had a french dip not come with “dip.” it’s in the name, but this place will give that. Nearly $100 for three people and didn’t get drinks. Had to ask for the cake we ordered, and we didn’t get the upgread salad we asked for and paid for.

I had the most exquisite experience here. You come in expecting basic American food, but what you get is the most dialed menu ever. The blackened chicken pasta? Elite. The TBD? Determinedly delicious. And I haven’t even gotten to the service. Timber knows this place backward and front and her recommendations were a solid 10/10. Jonny has that elite eye for customer service that can’t be taught. I went out of my way to come here, but trust me. I’ll be back.

Kind of a bummer to leave a review like this cause I’ve got fond memories of Magleby’s while I was growing up here. Plus the people were nice. But the food quality needs to called out.
The French toast and syrup are is great! However, I had the breakfast burrito and it was really really bad. It was just a salty mess, I couldn’t finish even half of it. My wife got the kids Alfredo pasta, she was just picking at so I asked if it was good and she said it wasn’t. I tasted it and it didn’t taste very Alfredoy, it didn’t really have any flavor.

The food is really really good. It’s been a decade since I’ve been back to Magleby’s and it did not disappoint. It gets very busy at lunch time, which the food service a little longer. But it’s worth it. The smothered stuffed breadstick is so good.
