The food was really good. I had been looking for a place in Katy and this is the best I’ve found so far. The restaurant has a great vibe and lots of snacks and treats to buy. The service was good, I came in and ordered 24 pupusas and got them within 15-20 mins. I would absolutely recommend for an authentic taste, not greasy or lacking in flavor.

Magili is much more than a bakery (though the pan dulce is awesome).
Our breakfasts were large and fresh portions with great flavors! The chorizo is a must and ain’t nothing plain about their plantains!
But the tortillas are the bomb! Thick, fluffy, fresh
Friendly service, English spoken.
Real El Salvadorian salvation on a hungry Sunday morning.

My family and I went here yesterday, and the food was nothing short of delicious. Their tamales were the most delicious I have ever had. We will be back again.

The food here was good. We stopped in for lunch, while in the area.
The staff there was friendly. The manager was very conversational with us. He was nice in letting g us taste on of their tamales, which was delicious. It was cooked well, and moist and flavorful.
For my meal I got their Beef torta. The bread was soft and fluffy. The meet was a little bland in flavor, for me. But it was enjoyable.
My wife tried their Chile relleno. The pepper was stuffed and well cooked, covered in cheese. The flavor was good, too. The rice and beans were also a little bland in flavor, but still good.
If we were in the area more often, this could be a place I could see revisiting. Their baked goods were on display and looked delicious, too.

Love this little “hole in the wall” restaurant and bakery. The workers are always so nice! I highly recommend the caldo de res (beef soup) and that pupusa de calabacita (squash pupusa).
If you’ve never had a pupusa, imagine a quesadilla made from a corn tortilla instead of flour, but the filling is inside the tortilla instead of between two tortillas. It’s full of cheesy goodness and so delicious! They give you curtido for free to eat with your pupusa, which is sort of like coleslaw but way more delicious.
All their sweet breads are good, but I usually go for the bread pudding slice or the cheese empanada. Whether you’re local or just passing through, you should try this place out!

Soggy inedible tortas. The bottom piece of bread was not edible for both because they were sopping wet. New girl in the front has an unnecessary attitude that likes to talk down to you when asking simple questions. She walked off when I was talking to her. We have been going here since this location opened. Will go elsewhere now.

We just stopped by to buy some Salvadorean bread. We were not disappointed. The bread was delicious. Next time, I’m gonna try the Pupusas and the Salvadorean breakfast.

My husband and I really enjoyed our food. The pupusas are top notch!! The customer service was great as well. We will definitley be back. For those complaining that it takes too long, well this is freshly prepared food so it takes time. I’d rather wait for great fresh made food than to gwt my food quickly because it’s frozen mass proction food. Gove them a try, you won’t be dissapointed.
