Do not recommend overall. Weak flavors, oily, and questionable freshness.
– Hot & Sour Soup was sweet and strange.
– teriyaki chicken was too thin and weakly flavored
– Gen Tso’s definitely did not taste like Gen Tso’s
– the jumbo fried shrimp was oily and more batter than actual shrimp
– sweet and sour sauce was more like red colored water
– the spring and eggrolls tasted like they were cooked in old/rancid oil
– rangoons seemed stale and lacked flavor

Updated: Had Kung Pao Chicken and Springroll tonight. Bery, very good. Tasty. Ample portion. Cooked perfectly . Much better than my first visit 2 years ago.

Prices are decent, but that’s where the “magic” ends. Kung Pao chicken was rather bland, was comprised of all dark meat with a strange texture, and was lacking any discernible heat despite being listed as a spicy dish on the menu. Dumplings were thick and chewy in a strange way. As far as atmosphere and service – there was a TV showing Fox News the entire time, and our server could not stop staring at the TV even when we got up to leave. Tacky at best, bordering on rude. With so many other places to eat in Alexandria it would be hard to justify another visit to this restaurant.

I called and made the restaurant aware of the hair inside my son’s fried rice. They said that they were going to deliver another order. However, they never showed up and stop answering their phone. I will never order food from this restaurant ever again and would not recommend anyone to eat there either.

Placed a delivery order for lunch. Ordered 3 lunch specials; chicken cashew, sesame chicken and beef w/vegetables. So delicious! With the lunch specials you get an egg roll and soup. Ordered 2 egg drop and a hot and sour. The egg rolls were light and tasty, and the soups were just right!

This place has gone progressively gotten worse over the years as the prices have gone up. There was a weird smell in the restaurant. The food was completely tasteless – absolutely no flavor or seasoning. My roast pork fried rice was basically white rice with flecks of pork – no flavor whatsoever. The pork egg foo young had less meat in it than the rice. The sauce was soup-like – no thickness or flavor to it. The only flavor I had was from the soy sauce packets. They won’t ever get anymore of my money.

We used this restaurant while we were visiting Washington DC and were staying in a hotel without a vehicle. The hotel had a list of restaurants and this was on it. We went online and looked at their menu which was easy to navigate, with prices listed. We didn’t order online, but called the order in. They were very polite and explained how delivery worked (since neither of us had ever done it). The food arrived promptly and was still very hot. The portions were so large that we ate it for 2 nights. It was so tasty that we ordered it again later that week and enjoyed it just a well the second time. This is a great choice for dinner!

Immediately no. I ordered the simplest thing; egg rolls and chicken noodles soup. The egg roll literally fell apart and was half cooked. It was the most tasteless thing I have ever eaten. The soup was just as tasteless and full of veggies , was also tastless.. Waste of money.
