Their barbecue is tasty. Their dressing on Sunday Needs some more attention, the flavor and taste is not a choice I would choose again and the pork chop was in the freezer too long. The sweet potatoes were good. I would go back for the barbecue if I happen to be in the area for the tips.

Mac & Cheese is good. Red beans & rice is good. The greens taste like dishwater. Short ribs were good, but a little salty. Pepper steak needs more peppers. Corn bread muffin tastes like cake. Step them GREENS UP.

On 4/11/25, wanted some BBQ nearby and was surprised to see this place listed on Google search engine after putting my zip code in. I had just gotten off work and was on the train headed home. This place is also on UberEats so looked on the menu and decided to try their pork rib tips. It’s clearly listed that there is a 20-25 minute wait on orders which was perfect for me because by the time I got off the train to this establishment was in that exact time frame.
I had the address but couldn’t find them at first. There is a vacant business building in front but their business is tucked directly behind it. I spent a few minutes trying to find them. When I did, I parked in the lot and went in. The guy at the front was friendly and when I told him that I had a UberEats order, I was happy to see that it was ready.
The rib tip order is plentiful – worth the $25 price. They don’t skimp on the sauce which I liked. The sauce has a little spicy kick to it just as an fyi. We enjoyed the BBQ and the fries were tasty too. I will say I was shocked when I walked inside the establishment because the menu there has more offerings than what is on their website or on UberEats. If I had known they offer chicken wings and gizzards, they would of definitely gotten more money out of me so my suggestion is that they add that onto the online menus unless there is a specific reason why they don’t include it there.
My other suggestion is to please get a sidewalk sign to guide customers as to where exactly their business is because they are a bit hidden. I didn’t like having to spend time searching for where this place was.
Other than that, I will be back. I know some customer reviews are complaining about the 20-25 minute wait which is a long time but they definitely have that information posted so you can’t say you didn’t know. Hopefully they can work on curbing the ready time a bit so it’s not so long. I want to definitely try their Sunday soul food menu as the offerings look good.

Best bbq I had the in a long time ago!!.. customer service is excellent!.. i even had them cater my grand opening for my salon and everything was super delicious , guest were overly satisfied and food was plentiful!!!.. if you haven’t tried it yet go see about them!!

Sooo good! They have the best bbq. The turkey hot links is my favorite. Best in the city. If you can’t take spice I don’t recommend them because they are spicy. So good you might still eat them. The bbq sauce is delicious! The fried chicken is bomb and always cooked fresh. Better than any Harold’s I’ve been to.

Small spot but the food is big! And that’s all that matters. I’m going back for the rib tips and brisket! My son said the chopped steak burger is the best he has had… My only downfall is the fries… But who eats fries anyway… Delicious and a must go to!!! I’ll see y’all there tomorrow for the brisket!

The service was nice , the food was awful, cold , the bbq tasted old , tastes like it was boil then put on a grill ( I guess a grill) . Thanks but no thanks. I gave it 3 stars because of the service. I was ask to go try this place out , since I love bbq . Try it for yourself and let me know what you think.

Saturday afternoon I went a brought a large ribs tip..The guy behind the counter tall redish hair to my receipt out my hand after giving me my order .took it and doing fraudulent activity to my card..the card is lock some everything isn’t going through….I don’t appreciate it..i try to support small business. But never again..I will be press charges. He work there and some hotel downtown..but that could be a lie…Sad

I just want to thank the owner for his kindness I had a problem with my food and didn’t he explain to me everything I was having a problem with it being so spicy and I ask for mild sauce combo of hot link and tips I could not eat it too hot he say they don’t have spicy sauce it the hot link that makes it hot and spicy but he told me anytime I am passing threw come get me a order and I did it today and my daughter picked it up and she said he personally brought it out to her and apologize again not to many restaurants or stores let the customer no they are first May God bless u and your business
