I had to come on here and just mention how amazing their medium-hot Cajun shrimp and snow crabs were. I have been looking for a fresh seafood boil locally for ages and I finally found this great place. For those who love seafood, this is the place you will definitely have to try, does not disappoint. Definitely exceeded my expectations great boba and prices as well.

Having family that live in NOLA it was such a treat to find somewhere in Vermont that does really good Cajun style seafood boils! We also tried some dumplings and a noodle dish. Everything was really delicious! The staff were so lovely and welcoming and we can’t wait to go back!

Second time having Magic, first time dinning in. Friendly service. Food comes out relatively quickly. The Cajun boil took a little longer, but well worth the wait. Had spicy tripe, spicy beef, and wood ear salad appetizers. Then for mains had the Dan Dan Noodle, Roast Pork Won Ton Soup, Special Beef soup, and the Cajun boil (snow crab and lobster).

My wife and I dined here recently and it was decidedly a mixed bag (which really disappointed me, because I wanted to love it).
On the plus side, the steamed dumplings were delicious and the dandan noodles were spicy and warming on a cold night.
This was offset by some of the blandest peanut noodles I’ve ever encountered (even a Minnesotan would call them mild), which were basically overcooked vermicelli swimming in a thin, watery peanut broth. No flavor to speak of, either.
And the service was almost completely absent. Once we had been seated and served, nobody came back to check on us, and when we went up to the counter to pay the bill, we had to stand there and wait for someone to look up from their phone and notice us.
I would return for the dumplings, but that’s about it, and then only if Cafe Dim Sum or Hong’s were unavailable.

Came in and my food was delicious (I got the Hong Kong Wonton Noodle Soup), but my roommate’s fried rice was wayyy too salty. On top of that, we both got the Brown Sugar Milk Tea and neither of us got any milk in it Came completely dark brown and wayyy too sweet! We tried to ask for milk and instead got a splash of Dunkin Creamer lol. Overall, maybe don’t get the overpriced boba and just settle on food.

I’m a BHS student, and this is week 8 of my Student Eateries Series
Today, I have a very fun event to get to, and it’s a half day, so I figured why not get some Chinese food for lunch?
I did not get greeted and seated immediately after entering the restaurant. I have to wait some time for a seat, which is not a great first impression, although I did get seated eventually. I ordered a special noodle soup and a coke, although I got my order messed up, because I did not get meatballs in my noodles, just sliced beef. There were also many miscommunications. She also rushed for me to pay, and did not ask me for a change whatsoever, which is not a good sign. The service was just pretty bad.
However though, the food was amazing! I added some chilli sauce in my noodles, and it made the noodles super enjoyable. Super refreshing, hot, and tasty! Paired with a bottle of coke, it’s a perfect meal.
The atmosphere was also good. Good Chinese music, bathrooms available, nothing more to say.
Overall, pretty fresh and hot Chinese food, but lacks in service. The atmosphere was also pretty good. I suggest you come at night, because the service that time is so much better.
Now, is this place authentic?
This place is partially authentic. The noodles are pretty authentic, but some of the other menu it’s are Americanized Chinese food.
✅This place accepts Apple Pay and Cash✅

Got soup dumplings and spring rolls. Both were amazing! The soup dumplings were rich and filling. The broth was full of flavor and tasted homemade. The food came fast and was very reasonably priced. The service was great and you can tell the people working here care about their customers. Would definitely come back again!

Came to try takeout for the first time and was massively disappointed. Tofu was basically raw and seasoned bizarrely. Dumplings and vegetables were disgusting, and somehow, even the rice was awful and crumbly. Me and my gf dropped $45 and both of us thought the only edible item was the side of noodles.
