I go to a lot of grand openings of restaurants, so with Maggie’s only being open for one day, I knew they would still be working out the kinks. That being said, the restaurant looks amazing, you can really see all the hard work that went into transforming this old house into a beautiful restaurant! Due to the amazing grand opening, they were out of about half the menu items. I look forward to going back and trying some of the things that had already sold out, as they sounded delicious. We ended up keeping it simple and going for the Sante Fe Burger and the house Nachos with cowboy caviar. The burger was cooked perfectly, and the bacon was a premium bacon that added so much flavor, paired with the avocado. I am looking forward to going back and updating my review after trying the Bleu Cheese Pecan Tart. If you go in these first few weeks, expect a wait as they work things out, but the future looks bright for Fort White with this new addition.
