We thoroughly enjoyed lunch at Maggie’s. She was friendly and welcoming. Her husband is the cook, and we loved the crab cakes and fried shrimp meals. Sides ofmac and cheese, fries, hush puppies and coleslaw complemented the main dishes perfectly. There was plenty of food but we were overstuffed at the end, and we found the prices very reasonable. The restaurant is tiny, with only about 5 tables, but full of charm. Highly recommend for a pleasant stop off the beaten path, but still close to Rt 81!

I wish I had taken a photo prior to eating the sandwich. The Blackened Tuna sandwich was amazing. The meat was tender, slightly pink in center, as should be, and amazingly seasoned. Maggie’s has not disappointed yet. Our family has done take out at least 5-10 times.

So we found this place on a whim really, googled restaurants in the area and a few popped up and we decided to give this one a shot. It’s a little hidden but worth the trip. I got the catfish, waffle fries and collard greens and for an appetizer boneless wings in a Cajun sauce. Everything was hot and prepared in a very timely manner. The food was really good and the waitress was really nice and you could tell she cared about her business. We will be sure to stop back in whenever we are back in the area!!

My husband and I had an excellent experience at Maggie’s Super Fry. The service was outstanding — friendly, and attentive.
I ordered the jumbo lump crab-cakes and hush puppies — the crab cakes were packed with real crab meat and perfectly moist, and the hush puppies were moist and delicious. Both were served piping hot.
My husband’s blackened Ahi tuna sandwich with sides of bacon collard greens and corn relish, was super fresh and flavorful.
In short: amazing food, exceptional service. Highly recommended—definitely worthy of 5 stars!

Maggie’s Super Fry is such a wonderful find! The food was incredible, we enjoyed every delicious bite! We had the fish and chips with fries & hush puppies all cooked to perfection. The building was so quaint, beckoning back in time, nostalgia abounds through the music, decor and more. So, so cozy. Really excellent prices and such a friendly staff Thanks Ian for such a wonderful experience, we’ll definitely be back!

Hot honey peach cheesecake
A lime pie that is perfectly creamy and had me reminiscing about authentic key lime pie when we visited the keys years ago.
Would likely need to give them advanced notice on any large parties as most tables seat 4. We had a party of six and they were very accommodating. We also had some minor special requests that were gladly met.
Worth a special trip.

We found this little gem by accident and I’m so glad we did. I had the special which was a fish pie and my wife had the bisque with crab balls and everything was excellent. Maggie was our server and she was delightful. The atmosphere was nostalic with music from Doris Day, Bing Crosby, Perry Como etc. playing softly in the background. I will most definitely be going back. Don’t miss out on this little treasure.

Excellent meal. Maggie is a gracious welcoming hostess/waitress. Really nice to eat outside at tables in front. Fried cod with hushpuppies and collards! Even had the malt vinegar for my fried fish and collards! Excellent crab corn chowder, too. See photos.
