A very solid location for breakfast (served all day) or lunch. I have yet to try Maggie’s for dinner or pizza, but it is on my list. It is not a fancy place, which I view as a “plus” for “beautiful, downtown Wayzata.” The service is fast and friendly, and it is reasonably priced. It can get busy for weekend breakfast during prime breakfast times, but the tables turn quickly (they do not take reservations). There are daily breakfast, lunch and dinner specials. I have yet to order anything I did not like. It is a family owned business, which I appreciate.

I got to Maggie’s at 6:30, expecting it to be super busy and thinking I was going to have to wait a super long time to get a spot. When we got there, we got in and got a booth right away. The service was quick, and our waitress Ava was very nice and refilled my water very quickly. I got the breakfast burger, and it was delicious. The egg on it was perfectly cooked, and bacon was nice and crisp. It was a very cozy atmosphere. I will definitely be coming back in the near future!

Great traditional restaurant, love their breakfast offerings and selections. Excellent service with a smile, large selection of breakfasts, sandwiches and pizzas, and easy parking. There’s something here to keep everyone happy and coming back for more!

Pizza was average nothing special but Italian sandwich was great. Mozzarella sticks could have been cooked a little longer so the cheese melted. Next time I would try breakfast. They have a lot of options!! Friendly staff!

I have gone back and now tried the cheese bread and veggie omelette. Not bad. Crispy hash browns and bread bread for the cheese bread!

What a find! Like an old Perkins before they became so corporate. Food was great. Our party got eggs Benedict which has a pretty solid hollandaise, perfectly cooked eggs and the ham was delicious. Blueberry pancakes also delicious with whipped cream. Chili was reported as “good, but not hot (temperature-wise)” and the cornbread was ok if a little dry. Commercial (open faced roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy) was pretty exceptional with a focus on the gravy that really made the whole meal… side of green beans with it was useless and very bland. Other food items were pretty good as well.

Service was solid, place was pretty packed and 2 servers were perfect, you could tell well seasoned veterans and deserving of being such with the high quality of attention provided to our 7 person party.

Restaurant was pretty clean despite the “run down” ambience that was intentional and adorable. The bit of feedback is the fans in the bathroom are super dusty and gross, and there’s no “touchless” opportunities for the door.

Otherwise very happy we found this place. Oh, and very reasonably priced on everything. Despite being in Wayzata, they aren’t trying to gouge their customers which is a huge plus.

We will be back, great job guys!

I really like this place so it sucks to be honest but the food quality sucks. Feels like Perkins. Go to Perkins order a burger and fries go to here and order a burger and fries You’re getting the same exact thing with a different bun. I wish I could give this place five stars because I really love the service and I really love the people but the food quality like I said it’s like fast food getting cooked on the grill. What do I expect when a burger meal here is the same price as a burger meal at McDonald’s

My Maggie’s scramble was good. The pancakes were average. My waitress, Heather, did a fantastic job. I only waited about 5 minutes for my food. I’ll try something different next time I go.

We decided to have breakfast in Wayzata as a part of our day in this city. Maggie’s is a greasy spoon without the grease. Located in a strip mall it’s is quaint and unique. With its greasy spoon flair of booths and tables, its breakfast was good. I had the deluxe breakfast, great home fries, crispy exterior and moist interior. Eggs cooked to perfection, but pancakes were a little under seasoned, nonetheless, good. My wife had the omelette, which she allowed me to try, under seasoned eggs and undercooked veggies. The latter could be a preference. But again good food. If you’re looking for breakfast, come and join them here at Maggie’s, Marisa, our waitress, was smiles and attentive.

Traditional breakfast place , simple with a Hallmark movie breakfast place vibe. They are quite busy over the weekend, but have quick service, your coffee mug is never empty, they take great care of it and make you feel welcome.

For years we have consistently found Maggie’s deep dish pizzas a superior pizza with heavy cheese , ample toppings , good quality base bread and rich flavorful sauce.
However, today the deep dish pizza was lacking in all of the aforementioned areas.
Hopefully, this pizza was a singular disappointment.
