Went for some drinks and played a round of pool. It was fairly empty when we went. But the bartender was nice and we didn’t order any food.

Maggie’s Neighborhood Bar and Grille, or Mags as us Emory students call it, is a good bar. I didn’t end up getting anything to drink besides water, but the onion rings were good. I give this place a 4/5 solely on personal preference that it’s a smoking establishment, and I’m pretty sensitive to cigarette smoke.

This place’s ambiance is unmatched. Nothing too crazy, no drinks menu and the simplest food selection ever and yet it has a powerful way of keeping everyone around. The man behind the bar is a real superhero, mixing our drinks and serving us the food alone like he is an army of 12 man. Definetly would go back.

Good local dive, great drink prices. They smoke inside so stay away if that bothers you. A good place to grab a couple pints.

A great bar stashed away in all that corporate plaza. The vibe there is great

Too bad they allow smoking. I HATE that Famous Pub closed, though they allowed smoking, but wasn’t anywhere near as bad as Maggie’s. Hard to find a real bar in this area anymore.

Fun neighborhood bar with 2 pool tables and a small but good menu. And on Thursdays the pool tables are open – no charge
