We really wanted to love this place. We have been considering going for awhile. We heard good things from neighbors
Since it is 7 minutes away, we wanted to support them. We may come back and give it another try. The place is lovely and well decorated in a 50s theme.
The waitress was nice and friendly. The food was mediocre. The fries were just warm not hot, the Cole slaw was bland, needed less mayonnaise and more salt and maybe lemon juice. The Friday special is flounder and the fish was delicious, 3 large pieces for 12.99.
The plates looked delicious, we just wish it tasted better, you can see the photos
The owner said we didn’t have to pay if we didn’t like it, but I wasn’t sure if he meant it or not.

We did the breakfast buffet, which is Saturdays only from 7-12 (as of 8/16/25). It was $15 each for adults. They have a lot of good stuff. The home fries were my favorite. They also have pancakes, bacon, eggs, kielbasa, ham, sausage, bologna, gravy, biscuits, tomato slices, grits and more. Service was decent.
I did not like that the plates and cups were plastic like from the dollar store and we weren’t offer straws. The silverware was still a little greasy also.
Overall I think we’ll give it another shot though. Everything else on the menu seemed cheaper. Buffet might have been a bit steep but at least plenty of meats were offered so I’m sure it’s worth it.

This is a quaint, southern style Cafe with a hot rod/ vintage motif. The staff are amazing, friendly and attentive. They serve breakfast (they were out of eggs due to the shortages right now but i wouldve tried breakfast food) and lunch. I ended up going with grilled chicken, coleslaw, green beans, and fried okra. The chicken was exceptional! The perfect mix between juicy and cooked that I’ve had in the upstate. The green beans are more of an “old cook” style with a bit of sugar in them and pieces of bacon. The fried okra was a normal fried okra (nothing bad about that but about the same that you’d get anywhere else). The coleslaw was on the drier side so I didn’t prefer it but I’m picky about coleslaw anyways. All in all this is an amazing little place to grab lunch and I can’t wait to try breakfast!

First time actually eating at this place after passing by it so many times on the way to my office in Greer. My son and I chose the breakfast buffet. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Plus, we loved the quaint country atmosphere and the antique decor. It was a bit expensive but with the cost of food nowadays that is to be expected just about everywhere. We will definitely be back.

We enjoyed the Saturday breakfast buffet today on our first visit. The food was excellent and the owner and staff were very friendly. The price was very reasonable as it included made to order onlets and our drinks. We’ll definitely be back. We also want to try their flounder one Friday.

Small town feel. Family friendly. It’s a place I would expect to see locals at frequently. Once people realize it’s there it will be booming. Great food and friendly service. Relaxing with a lot of vintage nostalgia. I highly recommend Maggie’s Cafe.

Tripped up on this new spot while out riding my bike through the country. Came back with the wife, and we’re glad we found it. Very friendly staff and very tasty down home short order cooking. The patty melt was excellent. Will definitely make the short ride up from Greer now that we’ve found them.
