We showed up during normal operating hours as stated they were open 11-2. There was a sign on the door that said they were closed for a delivery at noon. I don’t know how this place is still open. Who closes during lunch rush??? We were leaving when the employee opened the place back up after returning from the delivery so we decided ti give it a try.
If you like to spread condiments in a zig zag pattern then this is the place for you but not so much for us! It looked as though it were prepared by a child making art with the condiments on the hot dogs and cheesesteak.
The cheesesteak bread was charred had to be scraped off and ultimately went into the trash. Who knew Philly cheesesteaks were prepared with green peppers and topped with a zig zag of mayonnaise. I would have asked them to remake the sandwich if I knew it was not prepared like an actual Philly Cheesesteak but didn’t realize it until we got back home.
The “fish” sandwich really scares me they don’t even know what kind of fish they’re serving. The crispy hot hush puppies were served on top of the cold cole slaw.
If you order the “special” you get to choose a canned vegetable option for a side. That was not an option for us as we enjoy quality food.
To make it a true honest review I will have to say that the chicken fingers were good but not
good enough for us to want to return.
Unfortunately, this place won’t last long even in our tiny town that is limited on dining options and culinary taste.
