Reviews
The chicken added to the pasta Alfredo was bland. No salt on the table but we didn’t want to ask for it. The eggplant parmesan was very good . On one side the pasta was cold so I assume it was not under the heated lamp on that side while it waited for the other meals to be ready
The portions were very large. We each enjoyed a second meal out of it at home. It was good the next day.
The Marco’s meal for two was a good deal for the price. We would do that again if 2 people wanted pasta.
They picked the butter cake for their dessert and one of them had a bite while it was warm but we took the rest home bc we were full. It is better in restaurant rather than taking it home.
We were greeted and sat promptly. All the staff were very friendly. The environment is nice. Good for a special occasion, business dinner, family dinner (what we were doing), casual dinner. We have been to Maggiano’s all over the country and this one had the same vibe.
Would recommend. Would go again.
I have dined and had take-out from Maggiano’s in Indianapolis numerous times, and as a matter a fact, last year, around this time is the last time I dined at Maggiano’s, that said; WHAT HAPPENED?
Last night, I and the ladies of my social group dined at Maggiano’s, at my insistence, and I prayed I hadn’t. So much has changed, for the worse since the last time I visited Maggiano’s. For starters, I usually order a ROMAN-STYLE FLATBREAD with Italian sausage. What I got, was a half-size, oblong-shaped, thick crust, child-size pizza. It looked nothing like the rectangle-shaped flatbread I use to buy two at a time when I came here to pick up my take-out. The server was gracious and I sent it back.
Where in times past I could enjoy what is labeled now as, THE FINEST FETTUCCINE ALFREDO, is now in fact, and was served to me, dry noodles, there wasn’t enough alfredo sauce to cover the noodles on top, and then, the shrimp was served with the shrimp-tail, shell still on the shrimp. So you mean to tell me, I am suppose-to eat, a semi-creamy dish, and I have to pull the shrimp-tail, shell off too? No, No, No.
The sourdough bread has been replace by, (I could be wrong, I’m not) yeast rolls. For me, I prefer sourdough bread to sop up what should have been the creamy alfredo sauce.
On the bright-side, Ms. Andrea, our server was FANTASTIC.
I on the other hand, will never return to Maggiano’s again. Proceed at your own risk.
Thank you to all the staff working on making it a holiday to remember.
I got the alla vodka pasta and I even saved some for lunch next day lol. Big portions of food. And the creme brûlée was really good too!
