I went to MaGerk’s with some coworkers and really enjoyed it. It’s a lively sports bar with a nice crowd and good food. The steam clams were amazing, and the bread was delicious. Service is friendly but impersonal, as usual in these places. Overall, a great spot for dinner or drinks.

First time here. The food was good. Menu is diverse… there’s something for everyone. But holy crap is it loud!! and there is not enough parking. Several cars circling the lot. We were about to give up and got lucky seeing someone walking out at the last second. Plenty of tables open but no parking spots. 4-5 spots are marked off for curbside. Its been 5 years since 2020, you can probably give some of those up? We had the firecracker nachos which were yummy but very mild spice for something called Firecracker. Chicken cheesesteak was delicious. Finely chopped and on a good roll. Pretzel bites were great with the cooper sharp. Wish the mustard was a bitey one instead of honey mustard. I love HM but with the cheese sauce you need something acidic. Desserts were great: we had the flourless chocolate and the caramel cookie crumble. We might try the next closest location next time, maybe the acoustics are better. If not we’ll be doing curbside both for the parking and to avoid the noise.

Been here many times, sometimes with just my wife or family, sometimes with large parties, and sometimes I have gotten take-out. Food and atmosphere are always amazing. The servers are always smiling. The drinks are good. I recommend the 9th Street Chicken Sandwich.

Excellent service from the host/manager (Chase).From the moment we walked in, Chase made us feel genuinely welcome. He greeted us with a smile, very attentive, and quickly found us a table. He set a wonderful tone for the rest of our experience. Truly top-notch hospitality along with the food. We will definitely be back!

I ordered the Magerks mac n cheese and I’m sorry to say it was bland. There were jalapenos, bacon, and garlic, but there just wasn’t enough of those elements to make it flavorful. I didn’t even finish it, unfortunately. On the other hand, my husband LOVES their island chicken sandwich!
I must say their margarita was delicious! I ordered their margarita w/pineapple juice, and you can tell their mixer is fresh. Very crisp! I would come back here again and try another dish, and definitely get more margaritas!

I stopped in by myself on a Thursday afternoon and grabbed a seat at the bar — which is huge — and it was full. Despite the crowd, there was just one bartender holding down the entire bar, and she absolutely crushed it.
She greeted every single guest as soon as she could, knew all her regulars and their drink orders. She hustled nonstop, but never looked flustered, even after a little spill. And somehow she still found moments to check in, smile, and make everyone feel taken care of.
As a restaurant GM myself, I really pay attention to these things. It’s rare to see that level of positivity and efficiency behind a bar these days, and she made the whole experience feel effortless.
