Magee’s Patio Cafe truly feels like a neighborhood institution, delivering on its promise of classic American comfort food in a welcoming, casual setting. This isn’t fine dining; it’s exactly the kind of satisfying, hearty meal you crave. The menu is robust, featuring everything from massive, fully-loaded Baked Potatoes and delicious Louisiana-style Po-Boys to their famed Bomb Burger and excellent meat plates. We particularly appreciated the homestyle sides (that Mac ‘n’ Cheese is a must-try!) and the generous portions that ensure great value for your money. The staff is consistently friendly and efficient, and having the option for a lovely outdoor patio completes the laid-back experience. If you’re looking for a low-key spot with delicious food, great service, and that warm, family-kitchen feel, Magee’s is highly recommended.

Food was cooked very well
Not overcooked as we experienced with a lot of other restaurants
This is a no nonsense RESTAURANT
Service was excellent
chicken Cordon Bleu was cooked perfectly and I enjoyed the different style of bread unlike other restaurants
it was more like a Texas toast
The restaurant is very dated and in need of serious cleaning and remodeling. The Out House is the restaurant’s restroom building behind the main diner.
The food is ok but not high quality. It’s just basic diner grub. There are no drink refills due to coronavirus. For the price you’d expect better food.
I ordered the Philly cheese sandwich and it’s nothing like the original. The shrimp poboy was good.
I would pass on Maggee’s and try another restaurant.
