I ordered the Tuesday lunch special. Ground beef stuffed poblano pepper with beans, rice, and iced tea for $8.99. Took a bit to be waited on and for the food to come out yet it was worth it. Food was hot, well seasoned, and the pepper was exceptionally good. Nice, clean place to stop in for lunch. Portion size is filling and the drink cup is huge! (Smart way to prevent running back and forth for refills) It’s always funny when the waitresses pull a switch-a-roo on me. The first waitress speaks little English and I speak zero Spanish so the next face to come take my order is completely different. Um like Heyyyyy you’re not who I was just talking to. Only down side was I asked to add lemonade to the sweet tea. AFTER I had eaten and was paying the bill, I was told I would still be charged an extra $2.50 for the beverage because it has lemonade. If I had known that, I would have just gotten sliced lemon instead. I feel a bit cheated because I got the lunch special but didn’t pay for a lunch special. Word to the wise, don’t order lemonade in your iced tea lunch special!

We’re just moved to this area so we decided to try it out. The service was great, everyone was very friendly. The food was good and tasty. I was hoping they had more authentic home style Mexican dishes but overall it was good. We’ll be back.

So it’s a little hole in the wall which are usually the best, this one is pretty good for the most part my husband had the large menudo, he said it was good but needed more hominy and toppings (cilantro an onion) I ordered Huevos ala Mexicana I ask to ad ham, it was very little ham an egg all onions, tomato, an green chili very spicy came with beans and potatoes those were tasty. I also ordered 2 Gorditas

You might not be in the area for an event at the nearby high school, but whatever the reason, you’ll want to stop and eat here. My carnitas tortas was as good as I’ve had anywhere. I don’t eat Chile rellenos, but the person who does that I ate with said it was awesome.
