We love Magdaleno’s in Wyandotte! Jay asked Chef Ernesto to make him a surprise dish. It exceeded expectations! If you haven’t been here, it’s a must try! Sarah was an amazing and gracious server, thank you for a wonderful date night experience!

We reserved the dining room here for a 60th anniversary celebration, and everything was wonderful from start to finish. They allowed us to decorate, which made the event feel really special and personal. The owner was incredibly sweet and kind, and all of the staff were friendly and attentive throughout the night. The food was delicious, they handled all the cleanup, and we never felt rushed. We were able to enjoy our music, relax, and truly celebrate. It was such a lovely experience, and we had an amazing time. Highly recommend for special occasions!

Thank you Magdaleno. After my experience tonight, I’ve decided to cook at home. The host was very short and dry with us, like we were bothering him. The waitress was a bit short with us too.(what happened to front of house being friendly and warm to guests?!). I got my salad which was alright until I spotted a hair in it but I figured with the attitude of the host and coldness of the waitress that I would just make everyone more upset and that would be worse…. then the pasta came. The bland, pasta with the dry $8 add on chicken. The whole visit was discouraging. But hey it’s a Saturday night and the place was pretty empty so that should have been my first clue.

We were looking for a quiet dinner tonight and sat at the bar here. We’ve been here plenty of times but sitting at the bar was the best choice we could have made. Jaime was working and he’s just wonderful. The best service we could have ever asked for. We ordered something altered and he was so kind to make sure we were accommodated! He also did amazing presenting the specials and recommending wine. We greatly appreciate good service and the service tonight was amazing. Thank you Jaime!!

I would love to offer my critique on the food but I couldn’t wait for it. This is the second Italian restaurant that I’ve been compelled to leave. When you have young children that are hungry, I wouldn’t recommend this place because of the wait time. Even my patience couldn’t handle the wait. I understand that cooking food to perfection will take time, but what I want to point out is the service from the staff. After being seated, you wait a few minutes for someone to come get you water. Then comes the server who quickly asks what can she get us aside from water that has not yet arrived. We gave part of our order and mentioned the high chair is broken, and she almost immediately leaves as if she was going to get a new high chair, but we waited for a bit more, observing her chit-chatting with other staff. At the time of being seated, it appeared that almost half of the restaurant was not occupied and there was quite a bit of staff circulating. Maybe there needs to be more teamwork and awareness from staff.

I came home for Christmas this year and I’m glad I did. Wyandotte has really improved over my 27 years of living in Alaska and Magdaleno is certainly one of the keystones to Wyandotte’s fantastic vibe. Our dinner was hot and fresh and the pasta sauce was excellent.

When we walked in, there were two people at the host stand and we were seated right away. We did have a reservation, but the restaurant wasn’t very busy. There were a lot of staff working, and someone was frequently stopping by to ask if we were done with our plates. However, my husband set his empty drink glass to the side of the table and no one ever picked it up or asked if we wanted refills.
The bread with the garlic dip was really good, and the fried cheese and its sauce was also very good. All of the potatoes were cooked perfectly. I ordered the chicken marsala, but the sauce was a bit odd—it was sweeter than expected. The sausage appetizer was huge. The mini cannoli was delicious.
When it came time to pack up our leftovers, they brought small cardboard boxes. I had to ask for a different container for mine because I was worried the sauce would leak out.

Magdaleno is definitely worth visiting if you are in the area! We had the ravioli di carne and tortellini alla emiliana. Both were fantastic and were a very fair portion for the price! The toasted bread that came with the garlic butter sauce was to die for and the soup was wonderful, especially on a cold day. Our waitress was very friendly and the service was excellent! We will be back next time we are in the area!

Staff were all great & knowledgeable about the menu and ingredients. The cheese cake was amazing and a must try and they made the best minestrone soup ever! Thank you everyone for making our dinner an amazing experience… can’t wait to go back!

This was the 1st time I’ve been to Magdaleno’s and was greeted promptly and seated shortly after. Host filled water glasses pretty quickly. Waitress was friendly. Food was filling. Ordered an eggplant dish that was breaded, but it was kinda soggy. However, the flavor was decent. The salad was crisp and the dressing was a decent balsamic. The portion sizes are smaller compared to other places, but you will leave full for the night.
