We highly recommend working with Magdalena Bake for your special occasion! We ordered a carrot cake and mini cupcakes in two flavors for our wedding in June 2025 and everything was excellent. The carrot cake was absolutely delicious and our guests loved the cupcakes. The baking team also did a great job following our reference photos for how we wanted things decorated. Communication regarding ordering and delivery were smooth – thanks again, Erika! We can’t wait to come by the cafe on our anniversary to grab another slice!

I ordered a very specific cake for a wedding rehearsal. I places the order over the phone and emailed an inspiration picture. The cake that was created was absolutely perfect! It was a red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting. It was delicious. Probably the best cake in this flavour I ever had! So many compliments from our guests! Highly recommend.

We ordered our baby shower cake and it was an incredible experience start to finish. They made sure to accommodate to my food allergy as well. Everyone we interacted with was so kind, the cake was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! We also gave them full creative liberty with the decorations (we just provided our shower colors and theme) and they knocked it out of the park. And in our opinion, they are more than reasonably priced, ESPECIALLY for the quality of their work!! We will absolutely be using Magdalena for all of our bakery needs from now on!! ☺️

Magdalena’s is a fantastic spot for breakfast and lunch in downtown Staunton. The empanadas are a must-try, flavorful, perfectly made, and easily the highlight of the lunch menu. The croissant ham sandwich is another winner, with a buttery, flaky croissant that makes all the difference. Breakfast is equally solid, and the coffee is excellent. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the whole experience feel welcoming. If you’re looking for a quality meal in Staunton, Magdalena’s is well worth a visit. Highly recommend!
