Magaly’s Mexican Restaurant in Benson is an outstanding choice for Mexican fare. It’s very colorful and nicely decorated inside. The food and drinks here are excellent. I started off with a Margarita and then dove head first into the delicious Two Sonoran Style Flat Enchiladas. M’wah! My buddy had the Mole Enchiladas, saying that the sauce was perfecto. Service was really very good, but our server was a little too hurried to clear the table at closing time. My friend had gotten up to use the restroom and I had gone to the counter to pay. I came back to discover that my half full Margarita had been discarded. A little more discretion, please. Take the time to look around and see what’s going on. I was in plain sight. Nevertheless, highly recommended.

If you’re going to kartchener caverns or visiting Tombstone this is THE restaurant to go to. I absolutely LOVED this place the food was phenomenal. The salsa was some of the best I have ever had and the mini chimichangas I will be thinking about for weeks! The service is amazing and the restaurant is cozy but big enough for parties!

I drive down from Tucson to eat here. I love this place! The food always comes out piping hot!! And it is consistent! Hot and delicious! Great chips & salsa – slight kick to the salsa- its cravable! The tomatillo based one it good as well but you have to ask for it.
Not too much cilantro in anything for haters like me!
The staff are usually great!
Sometimes its busy- but that’s ok! Worth any wait! No that I’ve had to wait but . ..
I went here one years ago (15+/-) with some friends and started coming again when i was in town for the music fest and now I go pretty often!
Totally recommend.

We ate taco salad, Taco plate, And cheese crisp… All were very good, Liked the green chili on the cheese crisp. Salsa was really good, Were offered some hot tomatillo salsa that was excellent, little smoky and good flavor!

Had a table of 6 roll in hungry enough to eat the menu—MAGALY’S didn’t disappoint. We got seated right away (rare these days, right?) and before we could even finish arguing over who was picking up the bill, the chips hit the table. Crispy, salty, magical triangles of joy. We ordered queso too, because obviously—and it was so good we considered ordering a straw.
For our mains, we had a spread of tacos and enchiladas. Let me tell you, they were a solid 9/10. If you leave this place still craving tacos, it’s probably because you didn’t order enough. Highly recommend both.
Our waitress was on it—drinks stayed full, orders came out quick, and she didn’t bat an eye when we asked for extra salsa like six times.
All in all, MAGALY’S crushed it. Great food, great service, and the kind of vibe where you want to hang out a little longer and pretend you don’t have responsibilities.

This restaurant is very good. My husband and I ate an early dinner here. We both enjoyed the food which was served hot and cold as indicated. The wait staff are pleasant, dressed professionally, attentive and accommodating. We will definitely eat there again when in Benson, Az.

Mom and pop style Mexican food place. Food very typical for what we are used to in these small places in AZ. Gringo friendly, good portion for the price. Service was fast, friendly and professional. Food preparation was quick. Good experience all and all I would recommend it.

This is a small restaurant that gets packed. The food is pretty good, generous portions, and reasonable prices. The servers are really busy so the service isn’t great. Overall, if you’re in Benson, definitely try it out.

Lovely quick stop for vegan burrito enchilada style. Basic chips and Salsa. Red sauce for enchilada was earthy and not too hot. Nice Mexican music. Warm welcome. Pay at register when finished. Server suggested fresh sliced avocado because the guacamole has dairy. Authentic Mexican restaurant.
A nice filling meal. Patrons were mostly retired locals with families walking in consistently. Easy parking.

Amazing. For some reason on TripAdvisor this restaurant is a 3.9 and Mi Casa is a 4.7. It should be the other way around! Some of the best Mexican food out here! Husband ordered two taco combo. Rice and beans was the best ever! Taco shell was crisp and looked like it was homemade. I ordered two cheese enchilada combo. Fast service, free delicious chips and salsa. We have eaten Mexican food from the West Coast to the East Coast and this is definitely makes the top 3 restaurants we have ever been too. Hands down best Mexican Restaurant in Arizona. Am looking forward to eating lunch there today!
