Food and service was very good but I give this place 3 stars due to the prices being ridiculous. Dinner prices for lunch. Expect to spend $20 – $25 per person for a basic sandwich with a side and a drink. Everything is alacart. I had a traditional club sandwich with fries and a drink for $21.00. my daughter had a grilled cheese with bacon no side, and no drink for $9.

Great food! I had the best chicken ceasar wrap that I’ve had. My husband, who is really picky, said his rueben was perfect. The meat was really tender and delicious. We are definitely going to visit again.

We ordered take out food for lunch (I ordered chicken parmesan sub and fried mushrooms )That evening I became ill with stomach pain. I was in bed for two days with my stomach thinking it may be the fried mushrooms I had for lunch that day. I called Mae Lee’s to let them know primarily for the fact that others may become ill. The manager took offense right from the start stating how long they have been in business, their food is fresh and they haven’t had any other complaints. After being sick to my stomach for two days, I didn’t need to hear their business history. A simple apology, hope you feel better, I’ll take a look at the mushrooms would have been appreciated not a full blown confrontation of I’m right and you’re wrong. I’ve never felt so disrespected for doing the right thing in my life. Shame on you for your lack of concern and compassion.

So I just literally left there 15 minutes I ordered a philly cheese steak the girl who took my order was very pleasant I ask her to please put on the order half only with fried onions and green peppers my wife is allergic to onions I get home the whole cheese steak is covered in onions and peppers so I tried your establishment once that will be the last time I’ll head back to market 27 where my order is always correct and to be quite honest the sandwich hardly has meat on it so I paid 13.53 $$ for a onion and pepper sandwich..even Jersey mikes never has a issue with my simple request

I ordered the chicken parmesan sub with fries for lunch. The fries were golden brown with light seasoning. The chicken was crispy, the sub had enough sauce, it was cheesy and the bread was soft yummy.nI definitely will be ordering again.Thank you.

came in today for first time. i was so excited to see they had chicken cutlet sandwich’s. however as soon as I saw the chicken tender sandwich they gave us i was super disappointed. you need chicken cutlets for a chicken cutlet sandwich. it was more of a fried popeyes chicken sandwich which i had zero interest in. it was a good sandwich just not what they had it listed as. i would not have got that if they didn’t lie and say its a chicken cutlet sandwich. prices are decent and the girls and guy there were all super friendly. if they actually had chicken cutlets i would have no complaints. we also got a grilled chicken wrap that was amazing and fresh. the restaurant is clean and not to busy or empty. nice little dining area out front and the desserts looked amazing but sadly i didn’t get any to give my opinion on. pics provide of sandwich i got vs what it’s supposed to be. i really hope this review helps them make they’re business better. i’ll be back again

12/12/24 grilled chicken salad and gyro to go. Both good.
8/9 got the Gyro – yeah good! Nice amount of stuff in there & not overstuffed, it didn’t self destruct while i ate it 🙂
7/16 Tuscany no cut= good.
Grilled chicken salad, still great.
Brownies= amazing.
Note to self:
Greek tuna wrap- no dressing.

6/6 Turkey Tuscany – good.
Note to self: no diagonal cut.
4/20/23 several lunches for me and Mom. Cubano is still good and a great side of yellow rice and black beans.

Salad time for me.
6/27 another week of lunches for and with Mom. She loves the grilled chicken salad. I’ve had several different sandwiches but today’s sandwich shines through: Turkey, (no Bacon) & Avocado. I subbed in black olives for the bacon. I wanted to save my calories for beer. 😉 It’s a really great tasting sandwich! I think this will be my new regular sandwich. (Note 2 self – no mayo next time)
5/4 more salads & a meatball hero. All is well.
3/8/22 back for Mom’s salad and Tuscan hero. Still great. Nice to see everyone again.
10/30 this past week, got several lunches for Mom & myself. Wraps, salads and soup. All really good.

6/5/21- back for the Fish sub, it was good! Got the grilled chicken salad for Mom and of course brownies. All still good and the same friendly people working here.
5/3/18- Had the Turkey Tuscan sub, really good! The brownies are really good too 🙂 Mom had the chicken salad, she loved it. Great folks running the place!
2017- A really great spot! Walked in at 12:30p and it was packed! The reviews are true that the locals eat here and that the food is really good! I had a Cuban sandwich and it was really good and hot (temp). Free refills on the iced tea and free Wi-Fi. Been here before the hurricane and the remodel is very nice and up to date. Can’t wait to go back and try a different sandwich.
