We had an amazing time at Madurai Mes with family friends! Seafood platter was a hit, with Nethili fry, Shrimp fry, Vanjaram fry, and Pomfret fry – wow! Non-veg Thali and Chicken 65 were delicious too. Briyani combo was top-notch, especially the briyani itself. Soups were a highlight – chicken, goat, and sweet corn were all great! Kesari was a sweet treat. Veechu parotta and egg veechu were fab. Jigarthanda and Mango lassi were refreshing. Rasmalai was a sweet highlight! Gulab Jamoon was good too. Service was great, ambiance was nice. Can’t wait to come back!

I tried their Bhai Kadai Mutton Biryani ($16.99) an absolute banger, full of flavor and perfectly spiced. The Ambur Chicken Biryani ($14.99) was amazing too, especially when paired with the salan and curd pachadi. A must-try if you’re a biryani lover who enjoys exploring different regional varieties.
Their Biryani Combo ($23.99) is totally worth it,it includes one chicken biryani, one mutton biryani, fish fry, chicken fry, and a sweet. So damn good and easily enough for two people!
Also tried their Veg Thali, which was good as well.
Highly recommend this place for non-veg lovers looking to experience authentic Tamil cuisine. The service is good, though it can get crowded over the weekends, so be prepared for a short wait to get your table. Attached are some snaps from my visit!

Visited Madurai Mes Restaurant and tried the Thalapakattu Chicken Biryani and Pallipalayam Chicken (Boneless) appetizer. The biryani was not as great as I expected — I had high hopes, but the flavor didn’t quite meet the mark. However, the portion size was good. The appetizer was quite spicy and seemed to have an overpowering taste of eastern chili powder. The flavor could definitely be improved for better balance.

Ambur Biriyani was a good taste and very nostalgic for my memories of India! Kothuparrotta was super. Like my son said, looks odd but taste is super! Curry dosa was okay only… maybe we got too full to truly appreciate the taste. Always a next time. So much more items to try. Mango lassi kids enjoyed.

We randomly landed in this place looking for good biryani and this place didn’t disappoint. Awesome tasty and full quantity for couple to each on each dish. The chicken 65 was added bonus. The service was awesome. The place needs a little lit up!

My visit to Madurai Mes has been a very pleasant and wonderful experience. The food and the service is absolutely top notch. The staff are very kind and friendly, the portion of food served is quite hearty and will fill you to the rim. The burnt garlic fried rice and shrimp salt and pepper is a must try. The overall experience was wonderful, wishing them continued success 🙂
