Cozy go-to for all-vegetarian South Indian cafe-style eats in a basic, no-frills space.

It’s a simple restaurant with seatings for about 25-30 people. Love the simplicity and quick service here.
Idlis are my absolute favorite here. Also love that sambar is not sweet and very flavorful.
Mysore masala dosa had a small amount of red masala or the paste – so it wasn’t spicy, not to my liking very much. Also, tried the podi masala dosa which was better. This isn’t spicy as well. The dosas here are thin but not very crispy.
Filter coffee in the end, is a great end to the South Indian feast 🙂
Tip: very busy in the morning or evening hours, plan to wait.

Authentic south indian restaurant in Sunnyvale, CA. You get all the traditional breakfast items like Idli, Pongal, Vada, Poori and Dosa. The chutney and sambar tasted exactly same as what you get in Tamilnadu. We enjoyed our breakfast here.

I give the food 4.5 overall my continued experience here has been good. Just a few times I felt the parota was not made well. I really enjoy the masala dosa and the chutney and sambar are fresh. One of the best in the area. Location is small, so seating can be limited when it’s busy hours.

It’s a small place but the experience was good on a cold weekend morning, given the quick service and delicious quality of food.
I love that they serve the green mint chutney as well which most other restaurants don’t. It’s a fantastic addition.
We tried Mini idlis, Idli-Wada combo, Filter Coffee, and Mysore masala dosa. All recommended.

Quick and easy service. Authentic flavours. Affordable pricing. What else could one want?!
If there is any feedback I would give, it would be to have a little bit more sambar. Although, I’ve seen the staff kindly giving out refills.

Small seating and very crowded place in Sunnyvale with super delicious south India variety of food. You need to go early to get seating else have to wait . They have lots of SI dishes you can try. Need some cleanliness for cutleries, they are not very clean. Prices are very reasonable compared to the quantity and quality of food same time we have in other SI restaurants. All boys working inside are very fast and trying to accommodate all orders, they do forgot and mixed up but very cooperative to correct it. Food tastes very yummy. Lots of parking. Liked very much the kara dosa and spring dosa.

One of the best vegetarian South Indian restaurants in the south bay. Over the years as more people flocked to the place, the quality of the food had declined ever so slightly. But, the food is still delicious.
Pros:
– All vegetarian menu
– Quick service
– Tasty food
Cons:
– Limited seating, place can get very crowded on weekends.
– Limited menu options.

Good food, disrespectful host! Tiny hole in the wall place, serving delicious South Indian fare, best experienced as Delivery / ToGo. The actual dining area is tiny, it gets crowded fairly fast! The host seems to lack all sense of service and politeness and seems to go about his job from a place of frustration, rather than any need or effort to delight customers.

Visited this place ti try some South Indian food. Their ambience is cozy and it’s self service. The aroma was amazing and the food itself was avg and not up to the hype we got from others. We got sambar Vada, onion rava masala dosa and coffee. The sambar was good and tasted like homemade with minimal spice( not sure I was expecting typical hotel sambar flavor). The Vada was good and it was soft. The dosa was crispy and tasted amazing with their variety chutneys. The masala inside the dosa felt bland and the texture felt like English mashed potatoes with turmeric. The coffee was weird with a hint of sourness and which overshadowed strong bitterness. Overall an interesting experience. Definitely will visit back for their dosas apart from that lots to improve.
