We were there on Sunday around 1:00 pm. We were able to order pretty quickly. It took a few minutes to get our food. But they had games to play while you wait. That was mostly for children, I think. But there were board games like Scrabble, Candy Land, Guess Who and more. They had an area to relax with two couches and a coffee table. The food was very good and the service was also good. The employees were very nice and friendly too. They display and sell a variety of art done by local artists.

The coffee was great! Everybody who worked there was super friendly. Lives the vibe. We parked out front, I think it might be easier to park in the back. Definitely plan on going again.

The price for the taste was not proportionate. The staff was friendly, but found it really off-putting that the majority of my hour sitting in the cafe the staff and (I assume) a friend/regular did nothing but talk badly about others. They made fun of one woman in so much detail that I may know more about her than her own circle of friends… just didn’t really match the environment conveyed in their branding. I would like to say that there was a very awesome public posting board with a wide variety of local events and such things that I would be surprised to find another with anywhere near that amount of cool stuff on it.

We stopped by Madtown Coffee on our way out to Kentucky. It’s local, quaint, and eclectic. The coffee was great and the food was surprisingly awesome. Non-cookie cutter food – the breakfast sandwich was fabulous with their homemade biscuit. We stopped by midday on a Thursday and there was only one barista working there making the coffees (someone else making the food). So, it was quite slow on getting the drinks, but it didn’t matter too much as we weren’t in a rush. There were a couple people in line behind us that waited a long time.

I was just passing through and stopped here to get some Hot Coffee. They had several selections hot/iced and small but delicious selection of baked goods. The Menu looked plentiful but I was just here for the coffee. I would definitely stop here again for lunch.

I love visiting various coffee shops around Nashville while I have some work to get done. Madtown Coffee is good for doing just that! The coffee is great, the service is great, and the baked goods are out of this world – not to mention the ambiance and cute décor, like the Scrabble tile menu board. Have been here a couple of times now and will be back!

I don’t understand why this place has such a good review. Its very disappointed.
Food tasted like it was 5 weeks old. We ordered avocado toast and pastry. The toast was cold, dry and very hard to chew. Coffee was very bitter and it took them 10 min to prepare it.
The price was way too high for the items we got: $25 for two small bitter coffees, cold and hard to chew avocado toast and an old dry pastry.
Also the place was not the most comfortable. Outside were chairs facing busy roadway and a parking lot … see pictures. We wanted to leave as soon as we could but the service was very slow.

Excellent cafe. Wonderful breakfast wraps and pastries. The avocado toast is excellent. We have had a variety of items and all have been delicious. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and amount of food. Great place to enjoy a nice breakfast or dinner.

This place would be my every day go to if I didn’t feel like I was bothering the employees everytime I come in. I feel like I can’t make eye contact lol. Customer service is hard, I get that, I’ve worked in this very industry for my entire adult life so I get it and I’m not trying to throw too much shade here. the guy that complimented my shirt was nice, the vibes just feel rigid in there. I’m starting to think that maybe it’s a management issue, because typically if people are being treated well, they treat others well. I hope the staff is being taken care of and given the tools to take care of others!! Very good coffee if you’re brave enough to go in!
