Nova Terra
This local tavern offers all the American food staples you’d expect, and though simple, they’re both delicious and generously portioned. The friendly atmosphere, complete with billiards, a bowling machine, and darts, guarantees fun for all ages. It’s the perfect spot when you are in the area, camping at Punderson Park or visiting family. Stop by for great food, games, and to meet the lovely staff!

This is a great place for good food, fair prices, and a down to earth atmosphere. Nothing too fancy here, but the place is very clean and well decorated. The location is a nice corner store front with lots of windows and good lighting. The parking it convenient and the outside entrance has nice lighting and a well maintained exterior. The owners took real care in the renovation and construction of the layout on the inside where it’s easy to tell that attention to detail matter. I’ve read some mixed reviews of the food online, but in my opinion my meal was wonderful; a classic meatball and a very tasty red sauce. The ingredients were fresh and the food came out hot. The dining tables are custom painted and add some real interest to the main room. There is some soft seating areas and counter seating as well. The restaurant is able to accommodate large groups very well. There is room in the local market for this new restaurant. One can expect Madricks to do very well as the servers stay focused on the genuine charm we experienced with our meal and the kitchen staff continues to create warm authentic classics that can be offered at a good value.

Madricks and LAYLA was everything I could ask for. Truly, Layla was an angel. And madricks was a great vibe! I don’t go out, but tonight I wanted to go somewhere lowkey and have a well deserved drink. Laylas energy, the atmosphere, and delicious drinks was on point! I will be going back, thank you Madricks!!!!

It’s nice that there’s a bar like this open in Newbury, on a Friday night the bartenders were all super friendly. I can’t speak to all their food but I can tell you the cheese curds and cheeseburger and fries are pretty solid choices It appears they do their own hand-cut french fries which is awesome and the burger came out on a toasted bun with pickle’s, lettuce and tomato. The burger was good and and the fries were even better. Food and drink wise the prices are very fair and the service was excellent. Definitely would come back again

Went here with my wife to try a new bar, 100% a locals bar and your made to feel that way as soon as you walk in. Bartenders are not focused on new customers or at least not as much as the locals, very raunchy talk by the other patrons and the bartenders chimed in. Women at the bar actually reached over bar to grab the bartenders butt where a conversation about how her bf gets it whenever he wants ensued. Got a basket of onion rings with a side of ranch, onion rings were burnt, super oily, and had a small to go ranch. Was not giving napkins or asked at any point if we wanted another beer or pop with the food, while the local next to us was attended too. Will not be going back to this bar

Do not let the looks push you away. I was working just down the road and this place popped up. This place may look like a small town bar, but it has some amazing prices and some damn good food. Anyone looking for a semi-quick meal and drink, would recommend. Burger was nice and juicy and flavorful and the fries were cooked perfectly.

We just tried Madricks on a whim. We were not disappointed. The food was awesome, and the server was on her toes. Very reasonably priced. Music was a bit loud but all that aside this is a great small town feel. Try it!!

I’m scared to write this review because I can see the responses to other reviews (yikes) but here we go. Service was quick and friendly. We ordered a burger, Philly steak, fries and tater tots. The fries and tots were good. Burger was okay. But the portion size on this philly steak is actually sad. Picture for reference. Overall price with tip for this was $35 so you’d expect there to be a bit more bang for your buck. This was our first time trying this place for takeout and unfortunately, I’m not impressed. And based on whoever responds to reviews, I don’t think we’d be coming back. Which is actually really unfortunate since this is one of the only other smaller pubs/food options in our area.

Nice little bar. Bartenders are friendly and it’s not too crowded. Food and drinks are cheap compared to other places. I always order the burger and it’s always good.
