Came here with family to celebrate a birthday.
The place was beautiful. Loved all the decor.
Has an awesome atmosphere. Wonderful lighting. Live music made this place feel even more wonderful. Great service staff.
As far as the food that I ordered wasn’t the best.
My Pozole was super thick in sauce and didn’t have any meat but maybe two pieces, the taste also wasn’t great.
I might just be used to a different kind of Pozole, but this wasn’t what I thought it would taste like. Wasn’t a fan of it nor the presentation.
I might have to return and order something else, but for my first time experience didn’t do it for me.
However the atmosphere was wonderful and would give it another try just because this place was very nice inside with great staff.

I went here for the first time with my mom, wife, kids, and grandson. The place is nice, the food was decent. Not what you get in your average Mexican type restaurant. My problem was that when I got my bill, unbeknownst to me they had already included a 20% tip to the bill. So after paying my bill I tipped the waitress another 20%. So I need up tipping $100 on a $263 bill. I’ve never been a fan of automatically including a tip to the bill. I’m even less of a fan of this practice now. From now on I will no longer go to any place that does this. I learned a very valuable lesson, ALWAYS go through every item on your bill to make sure this doesn’t happen to you. I’d of given them a 4 star rating but gave them 2 stars because of this tipping issue that cost me $50 extra.

I ordered chicken enmoladas, the flavor of the mole was mediocre, the tortillas were awful, lastly grilled chicken…on top?? Really?? This place is nowhere to be close to Oaxacan food…or Mexican food in general. I’ve never had chicken enmoladas with grilled chicken, nor served on top of some folded tortillas. The only nice thing about this place is the live music. That’s it. I can’t see someone who knows what real Mexican food is giving a good review. If you’re looking for a good place to eat, certainly this restaurant is not.

Beautiful place. The live band was really pleasant, and they play Happy Birthday (i assume for a fee), and the birthday person gets flan with a candle.
The food was great. I’d call it “lush”. On the unhealthy side – soooo much sauce. No vegan options. The churros are delicate – not like the kind you get at a churro stand. They come with a small cup of chocolate frosting. (Melted chocolate would have been much better).
These service was friendly, and a bit slow, due to a massive group filling most of the restaurant, – good, considering the circumstances.
Sadly, the acoustics were terrible. Withall the beautiful tile and windows, it was so noisy that we had a very difficult time hearing each other without yelling. Made it feel chaotic.
The menu was good, though there could be better descriptions available for patrons unfamiliar with the items.
They have outdoor seating, but my party chose to not go there, as the heaters don’t
radiate low enough to warm a person’s lower half (we had elderly folks in our group).
Strawberry margaritas was excellent.
Wonderful cheerful atmosphere, aside from the noise factor.

Wow, this restaurant! It’s always the first place on my mind after arriving from Europe, where truly authentic Mexican food can be hard to find. We always come back for their mole, homemade tortillas and churros, absolute standouts every time.
I also want to highlight how attentive and thoughtful the staff was in accommodating my father-in-law, making sure he had a more comfortable seating option on a crowded Friday night, even with a last-minute reservation. Service was also great!
So happy to have found this gem.
