Loved everything we ordered here! We used to eat at the Madras Curry food truck a few years ago, but after we moved, we couldn’t find the truck anywhere. Until they opened this restaurant in Downtown Toronto! The Dosas are so delicious, and the sambar, chutneys remind me of home. The coffee is awesome, will wake you up

The Idlis are fluffy, and the Medu Vadas are crispy, airy and flavourful

The staff is super friendly and they make you feel at home.

This has become my go to place now for all South Indian food now!

What an AMAZING place! The best ever South Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to. The restaurant owners are so friendly and caring, they put their heart into everything they serve. The ambience, food, taste, vibes – everything is 10/10. Must must try their Faluda – you won’t find a better one in all of GTA ❤️

Had an awesome South Indian meal in downtown Toronto. Service was great, and the food honestly felt like being back in Chennai. Don’t miss the appetizers, Chettinad Paneer, Podi Idli and Dosa. The sambar was next level – just like what you get in Tamil Nadu. Wrapped it up with masala chai, which was the perfect finish. Definitely going back. This place is pretty much my go-to now.

I was visiting Toronto and craving for South Indian food, which is how I came across this place. Few takeaways:
1. We went when it had just opened in the morning and we were tight on time. They made sure our order was served within 5 mins (we ordered Mysore Masala Dosa and Paneer Masala Dosa), which I was pleasantly happy about.
2. The food itself was very good and felt very authentic.
3. Parking was a little difficult to find on a Sunday morning, but eventually found street parking right by the street where the restaurant is located.

Overall would definitely recommend.

Disappointed. Don’t go by reading positive reviews.

I visited this place 16 Feb Sunday night with my wife. We ordered- Sambhar Wada, Mysore masal dosa

Food was mediocre, portion size is also less especially chutneys and sambhar. service was bad, utensils were stained and bit dirty. Guy who served the food apparently look unhygienic as if he didn’t take shower recently. Overall very bad
Not recommended at all.

Had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! We tried the sambar wada and absolutely loved it — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made.
A special thanks to Sarath for his exceptional customer service. He was so welcoming and treated us like family, which truly made our visit memorable.
We’ll definitely be visiting again soon. Highly recommended!

This is by far the best tandoori chicken I’ve had in Toronto. My mother is visiting from India, and I brought her here to try the food. She was extremely satisfied and happy to find a place that serves truly authentic Indian food with the same rich, familiar flavors. Eating here doesn’t make you feel like you’re away from India at all.

The spicy dosa here exceeded any Mysore plain dosa I’ve had in Edmonton. I was travelling from Edmonton to Toronto and craving good South Indian food, and this hit the spot. The dosa was noticeably crispier than what I usually encounter, likely due to a bit of extra ghee, which added richness without being overwhelming. The sambar was excellent and spicier than most places, and the accompanying chutneys were all well balanced.

A couple of suggestions for the owner. Background music would help with the atmosphere, as the restaurant felt unusually quiet. They also seemed understaffed during a busy period, and the service team was stretched thin.

Otherwise, the food was outstanding and I highly recommend this place.
