Fun family pub atmosphere. Lots of games: chess, shuffleboard, and other European pub games I hadn’t heard of. And of course axe-throwing! It’s expensive, but you can throw to your heart’s content- and so much fun! Bartenders are very friendly and nice. Very cool place.

Great atmosphere! The axe throwing is unique and something I’ve never tried. Very cool. Lots of tables to sit and have a nice beer or glass of wine. I played Chinese Checkers for the first time in 20 years! They even have a big TV for football / baseball. Downtown Newberry just got a lot more fun!

Great new spot in Newberry that just keeps getting better. Board games, seating, and ax throwing up front and they recently added on a patio out back. Good beers on tap and a few other options, and they seem to always have a good food truck. Staff is always friendly and service is quick. Stands out from other spots in Newberry : no smoke, a generally younger crowd, good beer options, and no employee/owner drama. Our new favorite spot whenever we’re in town, we’ll be back, just us and with friends.

What a welcome addition to downtown Newberry! Axe Throwing is great fun, but there is much more to do. They have games at each table, not the electronic kind, where you have a glass of wine or a beer. The atmosphere is great for socializing, and it’s family-friendly (kids welcome with adults). They have a variety of wines and draught beers, along with non-alcoholic choices and some snacks. They will soon have food trucks for more food options. It’s right across the street from the Opera House and it makes downtown Newberry and even better destination!

This is a fantastic place. My wife and I have really enjoyed watching the business grow and expand to include new activities. The ax-throwing, of course, is the main attraction; but we also enjoy the excellent selection of food, beverages, and tabletop games. Looking forward to revisiting whenever we are in Newberry!
