Mediocre BBQ. Not a bad price at $14.50 for a 3 meat platter. I got pulled pork that looked more like it had been run through a mixer rather than pulled, the brisket is pretty good and the chicken was meh! I got sweet potatoes and Mac and cheese as my sides. The potatoes were like baby food consistency…. The Mac and cheese was the best thing in my order. Flavorful and you can actually see the real cheese in each bite. And lastly, the corn bread was very sweet, almost like dessert. Could easily have been a store bought mix. I gave them 3 stars because the Mac and cheese was delicious and the brisket was better than I was expecting after eating the pork and chicken. Probably won’t be returning!

On Monday I stumbled upon Madison’s Smoke BBQ recently craving BBQ food. Most of the BBQ places in my area were closed so I traveled from Wilmington to Newark to get some good BBQ.

Absolutely amazing!! Their brisket and sweet potatoes are perfection!! Everyone should try Madison’s Smoked Barbecue!! They now serve Water ice!! So yummy!!!

First time there last week and my food was great !!! I had the barbecue pork sandwich on a kaiser roll….it could have used a bit more seasoning but the sauce made up for that. Most barbecue sauces I find are either too sweet or too spicy but theirs is excellent. The mac and cheese was AWESOME !!! I highly recommend this place.

My wife and stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. Counter people were friendly, service was great. We both had brisket and pulled pork platters with greens and mac & cheese. The food was delicious, next time I’m around this way I will definitely eat here.

The good here is amazing. I wondered in one day and I’m not even a big fan of BBQ type foods but I was soo good. The pork was phenomenal and ive never gad chicken so tender in my life. Truly tastes like a hearty home cooked meal. After my first visit I couldn’t wait to drive in the area to stop back in! Definitely recommend trying it out!

Had the half chicken meal with mac n cheese and greens…DELICIOUS!!!!!! best barbecue in our area BY FAR! we like it more than even Famous Dave’s (chain restaurant). price was reasonable for the huge amount of food you receive as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Take out service that poses as a sit down restaurant. I originally assumed that it would be a typical sit down restaurant as most of the other restaurants in the area are. Food was decent but the atmosphere was lacking. May be good for those looking for a quick meal to take with the during a lunch break. It’s also noteworthy that the restaurant closes at 7pm, so it makes it a hard place to go to for lunch. Good service.

Stopped by with coworkers on a one day trip for work. The woman behind the counter was friendly and welcoming, and the food was scrumptious. The brisket cuts were thick and tasty, and the BBQ sauce was incredible.
