One of our favorite bars to come to. Can’t beat the ambiance (live music and mild crowds) or the burger special night on Tuesday’s. We look forward to a good burger and home cut fries… for $10 you can’t beat it! Servers are friendly and attentive. Parking can be a bit of a challenge in peak hours but well worth the “walk” if you need to park up the street. We have loved everything we tried so far and come at least 1-2 times a month. Nice place to have a cocktail and good food without the “craziness” of the bar scene like some others in the area.

It has been a very long time since we have been at this establishment. An old occasional “hang-out” back in the day. I am sure it has changed owners a couple times since then. The food was delicious- my husband had fish and chips which were done just the way he likes them with not too much batter and crispy. I had a Rueben sandwich which in addition to being gigantic, had just the right combined traditional ingredients. Most notable was the friendly service. We were very surprised how often we were checked on and how quickly we received whatever we asked for. Kind of a rarity these days it seems. We will definitely be back much sooner than our last visit!!

We finally had the time and opportunity to visit the Madison Ave Pub. We found it to be a welcoming place with a friendly and professional staff. Prices were reasonable and we got to listen to two amazing blues bands. I recommend catching some good music here and enjoying some pretty good pub grub, beers and cocktails.

Very welcoming here, the Food is to Live for, French Dip is the biggest and Best I have found around the Sound, hands down. This is pub but I don’t drink. This place is steadily busy so that says something. Nice staff. They are busy serving so don’t be offended if they walk & talk while you tell a cool Story lol

I came here for a beer the other day while my car was Getting an oil change. I been here once before a few years ago and realize why I haven’t been back. I had the same experience. The service is horrible. I sat at the bar for 5 minutes before the bartender even acknowledged me. It wasn’t that busy she looked at me a few times even when I walked in she took her time to clean off a table before she asked me what did I want. I almost walked out kind of wish I did. Got my beer. I asked for a food menu also if they had happy hour.Instead of giving me a menu she just pointed out the sign for the happy hour food. And said “it’s right there” 10 minutes later she asked if I wanted any food, I actually was going to get something if it didn’t take so long. Again there were people in the bar but she wasn’t that busy to ignore me. I feel this place is just for regulars or people of non-color if you know what I mean I’m sure you do. I’m hoping it’s just a regular but honestly have a feeling it could be a combo. The way she looked at me while I walked in and sat down tells me a lot. I’ll never go back.

Madison is clutch! Outside of a few special dishes (like their 12 egg ommlette) everything’s is under $20 a plate and LARGE!!! They make all their own soups and sauces (like home made blue cheese/ranch/fry sauce). The friday clam chowder is delicious!! The food has always been great – never had a bad dish.
They have specials every day. Generally they serve breakfast till 3pm so if you are a late brunch eater this spot is for you! 2-6pm is happy hour with app specials.
If you like pull tabs they have a HUGE selection. Biggest I’ve seen. $.5 to $5 denoms.
Accessibility – there is a 6″ curb like lip to enter. If you are in a wheelchair you MUST bring a friend to enter. The doors open outwards onto the olatform so it would be pretty trickey to go by yourself. Once you are in perfectly flat and large bathrooms. Mix of tall and short tables. I’d probably recommend the back entrance as its less busy and I think the lip is a little shorter there, thats where all the shorter tables start as well so you’ll save yourself some rolling 🙂
If you like music – they got it! Live music like 5-6 nights a week. Big jazz/blues/rock scene. There are also TVs everywhere for other entertainment.
The drinks are generous, the service is always great, and the food is well done standard american food (huge menu – options for everyone).
Plan to spend $60-$80 before tip and tax for a table of 2 people. Super worth it! Please go and support them – They are a local business and do really well by their customers!

The female bartender was awful. No greet as we entered. She gave all attention to her (regulars) and literally treated myself and a friend from SC like we were stray dogs. She greeted everyo e else by name as they walked in. I didnt know it was a groupy bar with bad food. We had a bill of $60 and we ate half our food, it was awful too. My friend got a margarita and she put two pieces of a brown lime in his drink. Disgusting!! Not to mention thr water, was light brown. No Thank you. It was a horrible exp for both of us. My friend from out of state had only been in Wa. for 3 days. That was our first exp eating out, as we waited for my truck to be serviced. I will never be back here. The atmosphere was for young coffee drinkers. Not welcoming at at.

Huge portions (we both ate about 50% of our meal). Clean place, pull tabs everywhere, decent beer selection and full bar.
