Much better than the previous owners! I visited this Thai place in July 2024 and didn’t like it, but it seems to have new owners as of the past year. I decided to give it a try via doordash delivery.

The red curry was excellent. Lots of Thai basil flavors and huge chunks of eggplant. Very thick and flavorful curry with lots of aromatics (not the watery low-effort Thai curries you often find in Vegas). The spiciness level matched what I ordered (able to make it spicy upon request). The rice had good texture. I requested no additional sugar and it wasn’t very sweet. Seems like a good addition to Vegas’ Thai restaurants and much better than before these owners!

Madii Thai Food

Madii Thai Food is a true hidden gem. This small, family-owned restaurant is currently expanding to twice its size, which says a lot about how special it is. It’s located at 6362 W. Sahara, in the same parking lot as Jackpot Joanie’s.

We started with the potstickers, and they were honestly the best potstickers I’ve ever had — perfectly crunchy, and the dipping sauce was absolutely delicious. For my entrée, I had the spicy eggplant with chicken, which was beautifully prepared. The chicken was cooked perfectly, and all the vegetables tasted incredibly fresh. My husband ordered the pad Thai with beef, and he said it was delicious as well.

Even though it’s currently a small hole-in-the-wall spot, the food and service truly shine. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our waitress even gave each of us a hand-painted wooden bookmark as a New Year’s good-luck gift, which was such a thoughtful and personal touch.

We will definitely be back and can’t wait to see their expanded space. Highly recommend supporting this wonderful local business!

I love Thai food. I lived in Vegas for 15 years. Pin Kaow, Lotus of Siam, and Archis were my goto spots. I tried the food here while killing time and it is exceptional. I realize every day can be different(different chef, off day in kitchen) but my guy said this place is the truth. My dishes came out fast and hot. The complimentary rice soup on lunch special was an unexpected treat. This is the kind of spot that needs everyone to know so you can keep eating her.

We’re a family of four from Canada, and during our spring break trip through Las Vegas and Palm Springs, we stopped at Prommares Thai Bistro — and it ended up being the standout meal of our entire holiday! In fact, after years of eating at Thai restaurants across both Canada and the U.S., this was by far the best Thai food any of us have ever had.

We ordered a mix of dishes, including Pad Thai, Red Curry, and Green Curry, and every one of them was exceptional. The flavours were unbelievably fresh, balanced, and deeply satisfying ~ the kind of cooking that reminds you how incredible Thai cuisine can be when prepared authentically and with true skill and care. Our kids also ordered the Thai Iced Teas and absolutely loved it, which added a fun, memorable touch to the meal.

What made the experience even more special was the team who run the restaurant. They were some of the kindest, most generous, and genuinely hospitable hosts we’ve encountered anywhere. Their warmth elevated the entire meal and made us feel like valued guests rather than just visitors passing through.

We left already talking about how we’d return on our next trip to Las Vegas. Prommares Thai Bistro is an absolute gem, and we recommend it wholeheartedly. If you are looking for outstanding and authentic Thai food with exceptional hospitality and great value, save yourself any further exploration and visit Prommares Thai Bistro.

OUTSTANDING!!! So happy I found this place! They have been in business for over 30 years. I was craving Thai food in Vegas & saw all of the positive reviews! Very authentic & owned by the sweetest family. I had the Yellow curry with chicken (spicy level 6) It was perfect! The cucumber salad was very refreshing as well. Inexpensive & big portions. I’ll be back for sure! Thanks again!

Having been to Thailand, I can honestly say this is very close to authentic Thai, only with a slight Chinese twist to some items, such as the chicken and rice soup served during their lunch special. The chicken pad thai was very good, with lots of moisture and flavor. The green curry pork was excellent, with down to earth Thai taste. Small indoor dining area is open during the pandemic. Great Thai tea, too! We look forward to our return!

It’s a little hole in the wall spot with a simple menu. We’ve been eating from this place for years. Prices are fair and amounts on your plate are more than enough. I’ve never had any issue other than by time we figure out we want to go there for dinner, they are closed. They close at 8pm, so plan accordingly!

Definitely recommend going off the strip to eat here. Our meal combined was around $35 and we feasted. Way better than paying for small amounts of over priced food on the strip. I had the panagan chicken curry and my husband had the red curry. Both dishes came with a bowl of soup and an egg roll with sauce. My husband also ordered hit jasmine tea. The service was fast and good. We were very full and satisfied.
