We never made it in when it was the Gastro Pub so I have no comparison, but this was a fantastic experience. We stopped in for Valentine’s Day just trying to find a spot at the bar and have a couple drinks and appetizers. However, their menu had different plans . They’re Valentine’s Day special was a 16 oz prime rib and and an 18 Oz lobster tail with two sides and dessert for only $95. Let me tell you what, it was 5 stars. The presentation grabed your eye while the smells filled your head with delight. The staff was very outgoing and joyful and the drinks were delectable. We will be back again and again and ag………

If I could eat here every day forever, I would. Billings doesn’t have the best food scene (to put it mildly)… this place is the exception. Head chef Nathan and managers Alice, Justin, and the whole team are phenomenal.
I’m honestly sad it’s taken me so long to leave a review, and I’m even more sad that I scoured my phone photos to only find one pic of a tasty on-tap beer (one of a wide variety they have). ‘Problem is, every time I come here, I attack my plate like it owes me money. The steaks don’t just slap- they file for full custody of my taste buds. Every time I’m here, I have a blissful aneurysm trying to make the impossible choice between my favorite on-menu staples (ham and cheese sandwich, salmon appetizer, nachos) versus the nightly pasta and steak specials. Don’t even get me started on the homemade soups… orgasmic.
Oh, and the vibe/atmosphere is also dope: it feels like stepping into a Pinterest board curated by a fun, slightly chaotic animal-loving wizard.
Do yourself a favor and come here. You’ll enjoy it.
Jan. 2026 UPDATE: I finally didn’t inhale everything immediately and snapped/attached some foodporn!

We stopped in to have some dinner tonight before going to look at lights. This wasn’t my first time, but it was my husband’s first. We had a awesome dinner and an amazing server, Ava. We ordered the smoked salmon platter, the ham monsieur, and the grilled cheese. All were amazing and the portions were nuts! Smoked salmon platter took the win for both of us. We’ll be back! Thank you for a wonderful evening!

5 stars all the way around! Very clean with an eclectic vibe/decor. Staff were professional and friendly. Food was amazing (Madhouse salad, pork chop, and blackened blue burger were all things we ordered). Good beer selection. All around, great place!!

Boom! This place is a huge dot on the map. An undiscovered plethora of service and flavor. If you haven’t tried it you’re missing out. The wings (in all forms) are delightful. The burgers are the bomb and the BLT is par none. Thanks for the great service and food every time.

I had a great IPA and the best made-to-order potato chips with fresh garlic, parsley and shredded Parmesan. I listened to live piano blues by the artist Joe Sullivan.

Such a pleasant atmosphere, light music-not so loud that you couldn’t have a conversation. DELICIOUS food! Not an awful lot of seating, but definitely worth the wait if that happens.

This place was an absolute surprise! I had the half salad with smoked salmon and it was excellent! So good that I had to order the dessert of the day (crème brûlée) which was also excellent. So glad we came here as I will be back the next time in Billings.

Amazing food! Stunning ambiance!! Incredibly diverse and creative menu! Highly recommend the Deviled Eggs and homemade ice cream! The special tonight was Halibut and risotto with a jalapeño creme sauce…I’ll dream about it tonight!! I’m excited to try the other menu items. And make a point to visit the restroom and enjoy the eclectic art prints in the hallway! My money is on them for a Beard Award!

First time here with my very good friends. The place has changed a lot since Grains of Montana was in here. Has a 70’s vibe but more on the modern side. Live music tonight, which was nice and not overpowering in a small space.
Ashley was our server. Very pleasant and polite. Recommended the langostino with potatoe gnocchi in a leek cream sauce, my friend Aimee ordered that. Her husband has the the spicy chicken flatbread (low on spice) and a side of white cheddar mac & cheese (low on flavor). Aimee and I had a bottle of the Resiling, which was good. I had the Steak frites with a side of red wine gravy. That stuff is the bomb. Could have done shots of that stuff. Food was great, but one downfall on mine and Aimee’s food was that it was warm when recieved, not hot. That is the only reason for the 4 star review.
We had dessert. Monkey bread, vanilla ice cream, and sweet cream. Very good and would have it again.
Definitely be back!!!!
