Whether you want a hot cup of Joe, a filling meal, or something on the healthy side, Madeline’s Cafe & Bakery has it. I ordered two breakfast sandwiches, one on a croissant with bacon, egg, cheese, & tomato and one on an everything bagel with ham, egg, cheese, & tomato.
Both sandwiches were outstanding and the pastry was unmatchable!! Fantastic; I highlt recommend this gem.

Kind of disappointed. I took a picture here of half of my sandwich. The whole thing was nine dollars and I didn’t get anything with it. Except a thin slice of a pickle. Sides are each three dollars. I think after this I’m gonna have to bring my husband to a drive-in to get him a hamburger.

Madeline’s decor is very unique and neat. Very open layout. Welcoming staff. Great food, drink and dessert menu. If you are unsure what to order or how to order drinks, the staff is happy to make suggestions. There is a list of options for ingredients for each part that goes into the type of drink allowing you to personalize your own creation. Gift cards and merch are available. Desserts are beautiful and delicious, i dub this shop a must stop.

9:30 a.m. – after 3 hrs on hwy to CO – Right now my husband & I are chowing down on an excellent breakfast bagel (fresh made in pan not microwave!). Nibbling on a homemade pumpkin spice donut while sipping a shared latte (Canyon Coffee! from Lincoln). Surrounded by delicious brkfst smells, luscious looking pecan rolls (will definitely leave rm for those on our trip bk home) & some wonderful service. As a die-hard local coffee/cafe lover, I highly recommend Madeline’s to all those I-80 travelers passing by Lexington.

We were driving through NE and after a quick search and a little diversion away from 80 found ourselves at Madeline’s. They have a great location which gives people the chance to see an older part of Lexington. The menu is great for on the go food but the inside is clean and relaxing. It will definitely be a stopping point for us on future trips.

I’m always trying to look for a good coffee & good breakfast here in town, this was my first time in this coffee shop & I have to say that I found what I was looking for!! I got a caramel macchiato & a sandwich club & both were delicious, flavorful. I really enjoyed my coffee & my Breakfast today! Definitely I’m coming back

I went here because I rather spend money at a local business than a chain but I was left not that satisfied. The sandwich was not only expensive but it was very small. Not to mention, it lacked flavor. I also paid $3 for a side salad that took a couple of bites to finish. Side salads are small but not that small. I chose 3/5 because the service was decent and I hope to offer feedback without crippling their rating.

Madeline’s is AMAZING. The food, the desserts, the coffee; it is all so fantastic. All hand made the day of, it’s always fresh. I’ve never found something I don’t like! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and there’s even some more room in back if you’d like to be more secluded. The girls are always friendly and I love going here. Everything from comfort foods to delicious desserts.
