I would say when we decide to order in or do take out Made In India on Carrington is our go to favorite. We went for the first time for my sons birthday and they graciously gave us his lunch for free. The lunch portions were huge and so fresh and now they have a buffet. We mostly do take out and eat at home when we are too rushed or just don’t feel like cooking and their portions are so generous we always have left overs for the next day. We also get an extra order of Naan and if you pan fry it for a couple of minutes while you are heating up your left overs it turns out amazing. The staff and service are amazing and the food quality and portion is always consistant.

I tried the samosas at this restaurant, and they were excellent. Crispy, delicious, and made Indian-style. This is one of the best samosas I’ve ever eaten. Thank you so much, especially to the person who made them.

Visiting from Vancouver, we were craving Indian food in Kelowna. Food was amazing. We had Onion bhaji, chicken tikka, saag chicken, dal makhani and naan, roti. Everything was absolutely delicious. We asked for mild and all dishes were mild yet very flavourful. Nothing was oily. The food is very reasonably priced. Service was prompt and good.

The Indian food here is very good. Great value for money. They have a lunch and dinner buffet of $16 &$25 including a drink. I’ve been here several times and the food is consistently good. The atmosphere is a bit lacking especially in the evening as the lights are quite bright and the music can be hit or miss.
This is my go to for take away or sit down meal. I highly recommend the food and the staff are always very pleasant.

Samosas were a complete letdown. it’s like to bite into a samosa and be transported straight to an oil refinery, I’m surprised they didn’t come with a dipstick and an oil change coupon .They were extremely oily—so much that the oil was literally dripping through the bag. The crust was soggy instead of crisp, and the filling lacked flavor. Definitely not fresh, and definitely not worth the price. Would not recommend if you’re expecting quality or hygiene.

If you’re craving authentic Indian cuisine with a modern touch, look no further than Made in India. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm hospitality and the rich aroma of spices that instantly set the tone for a memorable meal.
The menu offers a perfect balance of classic dishes and innovative twists. The butter chicken was incredibly creamy and flavorful, with just the right level of spice. The vegetarian options were equally impressive—especially the paneer tikka and dal makhani, which were both rich and satisfying.
Service was prompt and friendly, and the ambiance was cozy yet elegant, making it a great spot for both casual dinners.
Highly recommend for anyone looking to experience high-quality Indian cuisine.

Great big portions, good price, friendly service from wait staff. The onion bhaji was really yummy, better than most Indian restaurants I have gotten and at a generous portion for $5, it was definitely worth it. The mango lassi was good and thick, consistent with how it is supposed to be. The tikka masala was good, but I got it with the beef and the beef was a little dry and a bit tough to chew. The butter naan was delicious and huge, the rice was also portioned well and definitely enough for 2 normal persons.

Thanks for responding to the review – well you acknowledged that we ordered the food and the photos are attached so you can see that we had the issue .
Also the curry wasn’t ordered the same day i mentioned the curries and nan were ordered in the past and we gave the chance to try the food again .
Please take the review as a constructive feedback and not to defend.
We ordered samosas from here and were completely disgusted. They tasted like they’d been fried in old, overused oil, and the stuffing was stale and unpleasant. To make it worse, there was a pool of oil at the bottom of the container – it ruined our entire meal.
Sadly, this isn’t the first time we’ve had a bad experience. We chose to overlook the last few times, but enough is enough.
Their parathas are just as disappointing – there’s barely any real stuffing, just a thin layer like a spread. Even after specifically asking for them to be spicy, they come out bland and flavorless.
This place has clearly lost all quality standards. Not coming back again.

We came here to celebrate one last meal with a family member before they moved out of town and Made In India provided an excellent meal! My daughter insisted on the Mango Chicken Curry which was a crowd pleaser. The veggie pakoras were very big and full of flavour. The butter chicken was good but the beef curry was pretty chewy and the least favourite curry that we ordered. The lamb roagan was tender and we all enjoyed the Aloo Gobhi more than the Kadhai Vegetables. We had 2 orders of the white basmati rice and an order of the safron rice (not much added flavour but bright yellow colour) the naan was served nice and hot. We all found the Gulab Jamun desert too sweet (including my crazy sweet tooth daughter) and no one wanted more than a bite of the desert.
The service was good, we found the portion size of the curries on the smaller side for the price of each dish, but the food was overall great. We all had a wonderful time and hopefully the Indian beers will be in stock for our next visit 🙂
