Hungry Vegas
If you are in North Las Vegas, this is a fairly solid spot to eat. The casino can be smokey but the diner is clean and we didn’t smell smoke inside. Wouldn’t call it romantic or anything but we really enjoyed our visit.
We got the $14 T-bone that came with salad and mashed potatoes with gravy. It was cooked medium rare, which was requested, and the sides were fresh and flavorful.
We also got the prime rib sandwich with fries for $15. It was really good! Fresh toasted bun, aioli, horseradish on the side… Just delicious!
We would have gotten a dessert but after being done and sitting for 20 minutes waiting on our server we gave up andjust went up to pay. The cashier asked where our ticket was and we explained our server went MIA and she shrugged and said, “oh, her shift ended”.
So good food at a great price and we would go back! I am sure service is normally better reading other reviews.

It was flavorful but I felt it was a long wait considering it was just French toast with eggs and bacon and some tenders with fries. I ordered a coffee and it was a while till our waiter came back and I could ask for a refill/another cup . Usually I wouldn’t mind but there weren’t that many customers and there were other waiters too and she didn’t get another table until after she had brought us our food. So there were gaps of when we could have been asked if there was anything else we would like. We would have tried to get her attention if she was visible to us but I believe she was in the back. She was sweet and got our order right.

This was our first time dining here after living here 30 years! Sad too see it closing…. The service was outstanding, Dex was our server. Great bread at the table, nice fresh salad, delicious mashed potatoes n gravy. Prime Rib good, the T-Bone…. well lets just say it was flavorful but a bit tough, you get what you pay for stick with the prime rib! I’ll be back before you close your doors!

Maddy’s cafe is located in North Las Vegas, Nevada USA inside Poker Palace Casino on Las Vegas Blvd. I go there just to play the machines and eat inside the cafe. A descent priced menu and the food is delicious and the friendly staff always tailored to my wants and need they always provide excellent service for me and the service is some of the best that North Las Vegas has to offer..

Hi, I’ve eaten here several times over the last 6 months and haven’t been disappointed. The Tbone Steak offered at $9.99 is quite the Bargain and is served anytime during hours that are open. Add a dollar for a salad with your choice of dressing. It’s hard to not become addicted to their french fries although you may request baked potato. Reservations are required but wait time is minimal. The New York Steak dinner will satisfy! Oh, please be sure to bring your appetite!

Can’t rate the food been in line for 30plus minutes now front worker says 2:00 before the next server comes in and it’s 1:49 been in line more then 30 minutes already with multiple people paying and leaving so can’t even be seated when I am second in line are you kidding me right now… come on management get it together….or close 1-2 for shift change….would not of picked one star given the chance….
