We had a wonderful time here for lunch. Food was very tasty, the staff was incredibly nice and accommodating and the overall atmosphere was pleasant . There was live music that we didn’t expect so that was a nice surprise. We had two kids with us and the staff was understanding and they even had fun with the kids around the restaurant. We’ll definitely be back, this is one of the gems of JC ❤️

We spent our 1st anniversary here. I’ve been living in Jersey City for 8 years and had always just passed by this restaurant. It looks like a beautiful venue from the outside, but I never imagined it would be such an amazing place inside.
My wife and I started with a welcome drink, and we were pleasantly surprised to see “Happy Anniversary” printed on the menu. That thoughtful touch immediately made the evening feel special.
We began with the Citrus Grilled Shrimp and the White Bean Ravioli appetizer. The shrimp was fresh and perfectly seasoned, and the ravioli was honestly 5/5 stars — actually 5+! It was the best ravioli we’ve both ever had.
For drinks, we ordered the Dress to Empress and Smoke and Mirrors cocktails, along with a glass of Malbec (Alta Vista Estate). Everything was beautifully crafted and well balanced.
For the main course, we had the Prime Rib — and wow, what an amazing steak. It was incredibly tender and juicy. We normally don’t use steak sauce because it’s often too salty or too sweet for our taste, but this one was different. It was perfectly balanced and complemented the meat beautifully — just amazing!
We finished the night with a flourless chocolate cake topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, which was the perfect sweet ending to our celebration.
The staff (sorry we forgot the name!) was absolutely friendly and attentive throughout the entire evening. Everything was perfect from start to finish — thank you for making our anniversary so special!
We will definitely come back, and next time we’ll bring more people for a casual dinner as well. Highly recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying drinks and dinner here with a few friends to wrap up the summer on August 28th.
I totally forgot to post my review until now!
This was our first time dining here, and the food and overall experience were fantastic. One friend complimented on the selection, and another mentioned he plans to bring his wife here soon.
Lastly, the view of the NYC skyline was absolutely spectacular.

Liberty House has rebranded as Maddy Rose but the things that made us love the restaurant are thankfully still true. Stunning views, the best service, and delicious food make this place a delight to visit. We were glad to have Anthony again as our server and he took exceptional care of us.

Quite an amazing dinner we had all thanks to the spectacular food and great service from Anthony. Every part of the dinner was great from the view of the city to the Tres Leches dessert. The French onion soup and branzino also deserve shout-outs. We’ll be back!

Loved this place. They do need to fix a few things but it’s a beautiful restaurant overall. Our waitor and the staff were really great. I took my wife on Friday the 13th to celebrate her birthday and Valentine’s Day. Where we were sittings was beautiful and had a great view of the New York skyline, but room was a bit bright so there was a light reflection in the window. Wish the lights a were a bit more dimmed to get a better view. The live band was perfect. Our waitor was very helpful and kind. The food was delicious but some of it needed a bit more seasoning for example the meatballs needed more salt and were somewhat cold. The dessert was a bit of a let down. The cakes we ordered were very dry and the flavor was ok. We appreciated the out waitor and another staff member singing happy birthday for my wife but wished they would have been able to bring others to sing and make it a bit more of a show. Overall we loved the place and will be visiting again.

Beautiful spot by the water in Jersey City with an amazing view overlooking the NYC skyline. The food was good and well presented. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but you’re really paying for the experience, the atmosphere, and the view. Great place for a special occasion or a night out when you want to enjoy the scenery.

I stopped into Maddy Rose at Liberty House after spotting it on my way into Liberty State Park, and I’m so glad I did. Even without a reservation, I was welcomed at the bar, where Henry made me a delicious chocolate martini and went above and beyond to accommodate my request for fries with my chicken sandwich. The service from Henry and the other bartenders was friendly, fast, and attentive—they even brought me a water without me asking after I finished my drink. Despite a couple of functions happening at the venue, I felt like I was their top priority. The prices were reasonable, and the view of the skyline was absolutely stunning. Henry is a star, and I’ll definitely be back!

Maddy Rose offers a chic atmosphere and a stunning skyline view of NYC. The free parking is a nice touch, with a convenient kiosk to enter your license plate info. The portions, however, are quite small for the price, which is a bit disappointing. That said, our waiter Anthony was wonderful, and the view really makes up for the high cost. It’s definitely a place to try once for the experience, but not sure I’d return for the food.

What a lovely experience. The ambience is classy, and the view of downtown Manhattan from the heated patio is spectacular. Came here to celebrate my birthday and the team did a great job of making that day even more special. They provided a personalized birthday menu that they rolled and ribboned to take home as a souvenir and a complimentary glass of champagne. The service was spectacular. Our server, Anthony, was courteous, conversational, funny, knowledgeable, without ever being overbearing. The food was amazing, especially the calamari, with its unique dipping sauces, and the seared tuna which melted in your mouth. And lastly, the jazz band, Down To The Quick, was a very nice and unexpected treat. Would definitely recommend this place for any occasion!
