Great small town bar with AMAZING food. Love the hand battered chicken tenders, bang bang shrimp, and burgers. Lots of good daily specials and prices are decent. I feel so lucky to live right down the street.

I was very pleasantly surprised!
As others have stated, almost everything you eat is made here, and is good. Not only that, but it’s fresh, clean, and abundant; I got a lunch special, which came with a salad & soup bar and fries.

I’ll definitely come again when I’m in the area.

Edit: the price wasn’t unreasonable, especially considering its good quality and has great portion sizes

Best wings this side of the Mississippi, coolest people anywhere. I recently moved out of state, and I’m proud to tell people about the best wings I’ve had, here at Maddie’s! Freshly made and perfectly fried with nice, clean oil. Their food specials provide better-than-home-cooked flavors at prices that make it more enjoyable to go out! The bartender is prompt and friendly, as are the rest of the staff. They are also very consistent. My family and I have been here dozens of times and have thoroughly enjoyed it. Repeat business is a no-brainer. It’s clear that this place is as serious about the food menu as they are about ensuring that you leave satisfied. You truly get the best of a small-town watering hole with food that will leave you with no choice but to tell people about it on the Internet, like me.

Wow! Small town restaurant/bar that is beautiful, CLEAN, and food is great! Large portions, home made, and fresh was obvious in every meal! My chicken wrap had real chicken that had great flavor! Kids were pleased with lunch and got a big cookie to go!

Great little small town tavern. I stopped in for lunch, heard they had great burgers and was not disappointed. Meat was seasoned very well, Maddie wouldn’t give up her secret, but I tasted a good amount of black pepper. Delicious. Bun was fresh, and obviously from a bakery, not a bag. On this day I had a choice of chili or fries, I chose chili, which was also excellent. Served from a crockpot over by the salad bar. I was drinking soda this day, but the beer and liquor selection looked more than adequate. Bunch of friendly locals came and went while I was there, and Maddie could tell right away I was a tourist . I don’t say that in a bad way, it’s just one of those local institutions where everyone has been going forever and she knows her customers. I’ll be back, hopefully on a prime rib night.
