I had dinner at Madam’s Organ today, and it was truly an experience I hope to repeat. I arrived during happy hour and was immediately impressed by the excellent service. The appetizers were spectacular I tried the chicken strips and went back for seconds, and I also had the cheese croquettes recommended by our server.

For the main course, I had the burger of the day, and I was convinced that for just $15, you can leave completely satisfied. Every night, the bar features live music, and the night I visited was no exception it was absolutely spectacular.

Overall, Madam’s Organ offers great food, lively atmosphere, and fantastic service. Definitely a place I’d recommend and can’t wait to visit again.

We didn’t eat here, but the drinks were heavy handed and the atmosphere was unique and a vibe of its own. Multiple floors with a theme and different genre of music on each. Super cool balcony to enjoy people watching from. Bartender was so super personable and she made our experience even better! Absolute must do!

Best food and music in D.C. We went to all the tourist restaurants and high-end places, then found this gem. The Brazilian Tapas was amazing. The jazz trio was excellent and then the Afro-Blues jam and dancing with people from diverse international backgrounds made for a lovely night of food, drink, and people watching. We only were on the main floor, but it was all we needed. Also, this whole street and neighborhood looks like the place to be for food, drink, and entertainment!

Came here with a couple of friends to grab a drink and catch up. There was a $7 cover, but it included live music, and the band was great! Perfect spot for a casual night out.

Madam’s Organ is an awesome spot for a fun night out! The atmosphere is lively, the food is delicious, and the live music adds the perfect vibe. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. It’s usually crowded, which just shows how popular this place is, and there’s a $5 entry fee — totally worth it for the great time you’ll have. I’ll definitely be coming back!

What should have been a fun night out in Adams Morgan turned into something else entirely. I’ve never had issues with this place before, but there is one overtly aggressive bouncer on the second floor who is looking for any excuse to remove someone. He shoved me while carrying a mop to clean a nearby spill. I stepped back, gestured toward the spill, and said ‘go ahead,’ and he immediately started pushing me into other people, down the stairs, and out of the bar. Not worth the cover charge! I’d avoid this place until they find staff with enough sense to tell the difference between an actual troublemaker and someone just trying to have a good time.

Great location – brilliant and catchy name. Food is good. Service is fine, much needs to be improved with communication between staffers, but they do work hard!! The music is pretty decent.

Great bar, good drinks, good appetizers. Especially the spinach dip! Highly recommend Madams Peach drink if you like peach Schnaps. Good atmosphere and live music. Call ahead to reserve the spot, it gets crowded fast.

I’ve been going to this bar for a year. Last week my friend simply asked a girl for her Instagram. She either gave it or politely said no. That’s all. I had nothing to do with it.

Today I went alone, and the security told me the manager ordered them not to let me or my friend inside. No reason. No explanation.

This is pathetic, unprofessional, and shows how weak and insecure the management is. Banning loyal customers over something this ridiculous is a complete joke.

And let me make one thing clear: my friend taking a girl’s Instagram is not a reason to ban anyone. If you didn’t want to let him in, fine. I still wouldn’t come back, but at least I would respect a direct decision. But banning me, someone who has been coming here every single week for a year, sitting quietly, drinking, and leaving without causing any trouble — that’s just dishonest and embarrassing.

I hope you are ashamed of how you treat the people who actually support your business. I’m done with this place. I don’t recommend it to anyone. There are far better bars that know how to treat people with basic respect.
